Tyson Fury v David Haye

Discussion in 'Mythical Matchups' started by Rich ´Money´ Mustard, Nov 30, 2015.

  1. Now he's making a comeback, Haye is making his usual noise about "I'm the biggest fight out there for him, financially" and also "my style would murder him"

Fury is on the crest of a wave after outpointing old, slow Wladimir Klitschko and Haye is fighting for the first time in 2 years after a series of injuries.

    But what actually happens now?

  2. If Haye fights to win, he wins...and probably by KO. If he is in any way intimidated by the big ugly motherfucker, then he loses a boring decision.

  3. That's how I see it also.
But....as we see with Haye, he rarely has done anything in boxing to make anyone stand up and take notice.

I still think his best fight was vs Chisora in the Munch Bierkeller. :hut:

Haye cant fight tall guys. He runs around the ring winging the odd potshot and loses a decision.

Haye would run like a bitch. Fury would pose like a clown, and swing like a clumsy oaf.

Fury by UD in a horrendous fight.

  6. I think Fury truly dislikes Haye and would try and go for a KO....careless.

Fury UD for reasons already stated.

Haye would just run around and do nothing like he did against Wlad.

  8. Yup, I tend to see this also...sadly.

If Haye truly believes he can take Fury's punches and can knock him out...then he would win, no doubt in my mind. He's better than fury.

Haye has no business getting a shot at a heavyweight title for at least the next two years.

We haven't seen Haye fight since ''retiring''. He might have lost some speed and his reflexes might not be the same either. For all we know, he could get KO'd before facing a highly ranked opponent and become an even bigger laughing stock.

    Fuck Haye.

    Probably.

Haye is one of the most overrated fighters in recent memory. Even his vaunted hand speed is overrated as it basically consists of a single right hand. His handspeed beyond that is overrated because he scarcely can throw a fluid combination. He jumps on his opponent and then throws 5 straight rabbit punches.

I never say any title holder or contender or even fringe contender stinks or isn't any good, but relatively to the way many people talk about him, Haye is TERRIBLE.

An 80 year old Holyfield did better against Valuev than him.
