    Next Summer.
Older, fatter, and I bet it sells out even quicker at the same stadium.

I doubt it. No one wants to see a rematch.

Should be a better fight if Wlad's more willing to open up.

Talk of it being at Wembley. Don't think it sells well there.

Wlad's consecutive defenses tally has come to and end...I don't see the point of him fighting on at age 39. Even if he were to win the rematch in one round, it'll be meaningless. He should just retire and leave the division open for a new king to take control (that's right, I don't see Fury as the King, I see him as merely a caretaker of the throne).

I cannot BELIEVE I'm going to say this... but I hope Wlad destroys him in the rematch.

For the sake of boxing, we simply CANNOT have a talentless bum like Fury as undisputed champion.

After the excitement of the first one it should sell out three Wembleys.

I can't see Wlad winning the rematch. I see no reason why he'd be more motivated in a return fight than he was for the first. What's he going to do differently? Be more aggressive? I doubt it. You can't teach an old dog new tricks. Fury will win again, and perhaps more easily this time.

That's what Roy Jones said....and then he fought Glen Johnson.

I happen to think that there is no shame in going out on a loss at the end of your career, Father time catches up to everyone. Better to hang them up then and have people merely dismiss it as you being old and washed up then to continue and get beaten down again and again and even worse than beofre so that the lasting memory of your career is the beatdowns you suffered at the end.

I'm a die hard Roy Jones fan, but I have to tell you, what I remember most about jones at this point in time is getting beat down and beat down fight after fight at the end of his career. That'll change in time, but for now it's not a good look.

I can relate to something Larry Merchant said during one of the broadcasts alongside Jones. Jones said "Michael Vick is the Roy Jones of Football", Merchant responded, "What, you mean he might get knocked out?".

    Wlad should leave now.

Nothing to suggest a rematch would be different. Fury will probably stop Wlad this time.

Cunningham dropped the gypo yet Wlad couldn't as much as hurt him. Wlad is a disgrace.

    1. Wlad didn't get KTFO like Roy did against Tarver

    2. The rematch isn't happening four months after a brutal KO like Roy suffered

    3. Roy hadn't fought twice in four months in nearly 10 years, let alone coming off his first KO loss

Not even close to the same scenario.

Unless Fury just doesn't give a fuck from now on, doesn't train and doesn't make a good weight....he will stop Klitschko in the rematch.
It doesn't matter if Klitschko 'Man's Up' and grows a pair of bollocks....because he doesn't have any bollocks to grow.

One way Wlad could win this is if Fury takes too many chances in an effort to knock Wlad out. Then again, Wlad's response to aggression is to hold. So it may not be as risky as it might seem.

Yep. Any time Wlad is attacked he goes into a semi panic mode and does everything he can to avoid contact. Turning his head, holding or backing out of range and it doesn't even matter who the opponent is. For him everybody is George Foreman.

While the game is about hit and don't get hit, some fighters take the second part to extremes. The difference with Wlad is that he seems terrified of being hit rather than it just being ring smarts. I can't think of a fighter at that level who looks so concerned when their opponent is mounting any kind of attack.

Wlad is not beating the furious one. Wlad will not become brave over night. Wlad has the killer instinct of a Walt Disney cartoon. Furious Gypo will have it even easier this time around because Wlad's 10 years of self help books and confidence building seminars are all out the window. Not to mention he will be older and slower. Gypo tko 9.

BOSS thinks Corrie Sanders actually performed a first ever sex change operation in a boxing ring. Wlad entered the ring a man and left the ring a woman.

Despite his poor showing last weekend, I simply cannot write off Wlad in the rematch. He's got tons of experience, is a proud man and he's determined to claim back what he lost. He wouldn't be where he is if he wasn't hungry to succeed, right?! He's obviously no spring chicken anymore at 39. and maybe Fury has met him at the right time and Wlad is just not going to be able to get to grips with him, but Wlad may be able to adjust. Only time will tell. Let's not forget that Fury does have a suspect chin and Wlad has KO power, so he could land at anytime and have Fury in real trouble.

I'm excited for the rematch and I don't see a similar outcome to the first fight.

well, according to some on this site, Wladerina is a blood and guts warrior.

Me, I agree with your post. Wladerina only chance in a rematch is a lucky punch imo. I just don't see him having the heart to win this fight. Fury is big enough and fast enough to land on him, so he'll fight terrified, as always, and he'll disgrace himself once more.

Wlad is SHOT... If he tries to get more aggressive (He won't.) he will just get KO'd.

I still don't believe he's gonna go through with this.

exactly. A tiger don't change its stripe, especially not at the end of its career. (Thinking about it, this doesn't really apply to wladerina cause he sure ain't a tiger, as we saw once more last saturday. He's more like a big scared ostrich). This clown has been fighting like a coward for all of his career, so the chance of him finally showing some balls at the tail end of his career is pretty much inexistant
