The new 'Wonder Woman' movie is currently filming (DC & WB are gambling on an unproven Gal Gadot, risky move). The film also stars Chris Pine (Star Trek) as Captain Steve Trevor and its plot is set during the World War II era.

Do any of you still buy comic books? BOSS is curious if in the upcoming issue Superman gets his ass beat by Tyson Fury.

 

I mean, think about it. Superman is used to having a speed advantage over his opponents (with the exception of Flash)....against Ali he'll be facing the first ever guy that beats him for speed. Sure, Superman has the edge in power but Ali negates that with his superior defensive reflexes and movement. Sure Superman's chin is made of steel, but there's so much punishment even a man of steel can take. Ali would psyche him out with the brash pre-fight talking, the Ali shuffle, and confuse the Kryptonian with the jab. Superman would be throwing those huge bombs of his but they'd be hitting air. Remember it's against the Marquis of Queenbury rules to use heat Vision, Ice Breath or to fly....I mean this aint the UFC. Under boxing rules he's in Ali's arena and the Greatest just has too much experience.

 

I haven't bought comicbooks since everything turned PC and oriented toward pushing certain agendas.

I just watched the new Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer in Jimmy Kimmel Live and now I have mixed feelings, particularly about the introduction of the villain Doomsday in this film and how corny they reacted to Wonder Woman.

Seems to me that Lex Luthor creates doomsday out of Zod DNA...probably with some help from Kryptonite and Wayne Industries.
