I know I'm late to the bandwagon but only just started watching this, this week. Great show...not what I was expecting at all, but great.

Suddenly I have a desire to learn how to "cook" methamphetamine. lol

Other than the unfathomably unrealistic plot, the retarded characters, and the constantly recycled storylines and scripting occuring throughout the series, I guess it's alright.

    Yep.
It's one of those shows that gets everyone into Lemmings-mode: "if all thes epeople say it's great, I have to as well"

I know a couple who know nothing about 'good TV shows' - yet they hooked into this and 'got hooked'.

It's overrated, but it's still a damn good show.

It's a damn good show indeed...obviously not on the level of Game of Thrones or Homeland, but fantastic show nevertheless.

Finished binge watching all 5 seasons a couple weeks ago................and by "binge-watching" it means it took me about 6 months or so to finish.

Fantastic! I don't know about best show ever or even Top 10, but it was tremendously entertaining.

Like "The Shield", it is ridiculously over the top, but Cranston and the other actors are so good, it makes you sympathetic and understanding to his plight, even though you know he's being a stubborn, world class, flexing asshole, most of the time.

Writers and actors did a really good job fleshing out most of the supporting characters after a pretty thin 1st season. By the end, they were more interesting then anything that Walter White was doing. I particularly liked the growth of Hank Schrader, as the series went on.

Does BB's best season come close to True Detective season 1? If so I might give it another chance.

I mean, it's hard to compare the two. It's definitely better then True Detective Season 2.......all of the seasons.

Having watched 5 seasons of "Breaking Bad" over the last several months, it's hard to even break it down into seasons. It's a pretty linear story all the way through. Either watch it from the beginning or don't watch it at all.

Cooking it ain’t the fun part. You should really try popping a few.

I never saw BB but IMO True Detective is a watch one time kind of show. I think BB might be closer to the Wire where it’s good enough to go through the whole series more than once.

For the record I went through the Wire series twice and GOT’s several times.

Love the show...not as much as The Wire or The Sopranos, but it was a terrific show with excellent writing and acting.

I rank Game of Thrones below due to the late decline of the show.

I started watching it before I started watching "Breaking Bad" and got sidetracked and lost interest after a couple episodes. I'm considering going back and giving it another shot.

I would think watching it before Breaking Bad who severely diminish the odds of getting into it.
