I would love to know what holes in McGreger's game can cerrone exploit?

McGregor seriously has a potent left hand! Also, he took some big shots against Mendes but it looked like it only made him grow stronger instead of discouraging him.

The guy that beats McGregor without breaking a sweat at 155 is Nurmagomedov.

McGregor didn't have a clue how to stop Mendes' takedowns. From an MMA perspective, Mendes wrestling pales to Nurmagomedov's and he's naturally about 20 pounds heavier. McGregor gets ragdolled in my opinion.

Moving up to 155, the last thing McGregor needs is a big lightweight with great grappling.

He didnt fear mendes' take downs. Mendes is a great wrestler, so we knew the takedowns would happen. But it didnt really matter.

btw, the main problem with calling that fight is Khabib takes too many punches and loves to trade. If McGregers speed, power and accuracy move up with him, that could spell serious trouble.

Khabib pulled out of his last 3 fights because of injuries. He fought once last year and zero times this year. I'm not sure he'll be the same when he comes back, or if he's even coming back.

I'm picking Conor over Aldo, but it seems premature to speculate about his chances at lightweight now. I'd love to see him move up if he beats Aldo and Edgar (assuming Edgar beats Mendes).

Naturally picking Khabib is contingent on him coming back from this latest injury.

That is typically Irish. Guys slag / take the piss out of each constantly. I guess you develop a thick skin over time.

Actually, Faber deals with him pretty well, he knows it's all in jest and tries to fire back

You should have done that in the Ronda fight man. This one is way harder to call. THAT being said, if I were you, I would follow me too.

I really want to see how much weight these guys put on in 24 hours. That really is important, specifically in the weidman/Rockhold fight.

If Wiedman still looks trim, and Rock balloons looking like a lightheavy, i might lean towards him.

With Aldo McGregger, i need to see McGreggers weight. Im not worried about Aldo. If McGregger still looks like a zombie, I cant pick him. They will have an interview early tomorrow before waaay before the fight that will help me.

But that aldo money is pouring in right now. So you better hope i choose Conner

Him cutting his hair on the sides and trimming that beard didnt help him.

Does anyone feel that McGregor's line dancing and capoeira style of weird training will help him?

I posted before the fight that I was betting on Holm. I got money down early.

    I just bet Aldo.

By the way, this is the best I've ever seen Aldo look for a weigh-in.

By the way I don't see the genius of McGregor. He's got decent footwork range and timing, is big and being a lefty helps, but his skills just seem raw to me.

He's an odd talent because he throws a wide variety of kicks BUT unlike most karate-style fighters he does it while applying smothering forward pressure. And he throws very powerful kicks but stays relatively light on his feet.

I should have pulled the trigger sooner. I got Aldo at -115. After the weigh in, I'm just convinced he's gonna win.
