With Curry currently playing at the highest level any guard has played at since early 90s Jordan, as long as HE doesn't go down to injury, they should be able to maintain a #1 seed all year. If Steph goes down, the team is automatically fucked.
Celtics have been playing well, so it's not impossible to see them lose tonight. At this point, it's pretty meaningless when the streak ends. I have a feeling that in our life times we'll never see this record broken. It's VERY rare for teams to even start 10-0, 11-0, 12-0. And you see only twice in history has a team even started 15-0. I say it's HIGHLY unlikely in our time that we even witness a team get to 20-0, much less the 23-0 the Warriors are at now. Let's stop predicting when they're gonna lose and just enjoy this. It's gonna go down as one of the more impressive streaks in sport's history.
And even in extreme adversity, missing their 2nd best player... they STILL find a way to win. 24-0. This is a special team indeed.
NBA right now is possibly stronger than ever, athletes are great and the tactical level of the game has improved in huge steps since 90s. Incredible that one team can dominate like this
Yup he shoulda been selling those 24-1 shirts those chaps in the Milwaukee stands were sportin Kudos to reed
Dayum! :bears: But this was the time to look like Nostradamus. They were due a loss for 10 games now...
Fact remains that this record might stand forever, like Wilt's 100 in a game. It's just unfathomable for an NBA team to start 24-0. Years from now we might see a team starting 17-0, 18-0, 19-0, but I don't think we'll ever again see this. So, I hope yall enjoyed it while it lasted. It was somethin.
I thought the same thing about Usain Bolts first 200m record. Records are there to be broken but I completely share your feelings here. You just CAN'T imagine it. But you couldn't see them doing 24-0 this year either, so... ::
Well it took OVER 20 years for a team to even beat Houston's 15-0 start. Nothings completely impossible, but it very well could take 25-30 years before we see this record challenged. The NBA is sooo competitive and games are so grueling and close together that even 10-0 starts are impressive.
Diva Howard complaining again. Bitch should be dealt to the Sixers and suffer forever. http://nba.nbcsports.com/2015/12/15...ockets/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter
Nobody cares at this point. When he was with the Magic and Lakers, it was a big deal cause he was still considered an elite player and the best Center. At this point, everybody can see that he's quickly declining, and he's not even top 5 center anymore. He's just a diva scrub now. Doesn't wanna play second fiddle to Harden, yet he's no longer capable of being the alpha for any quality team. Howard is basically a glorified role player at this stage. He's a SHELL of the player he was in 2011.
Hard to criticize Howard based on that piss poor excuse of an article: It starts: and jumps straight to: with the rest being complete speculation. No wonder certain players don't want to talk to the press anymore.
