What does McGregor look like in the fights he lost? He was a big, sloppy bully against Mendes, but he generally looks like a big, dynamic striker who is hard to take down.

Bookies here have McGregor at 5/6, Aldo 10/11. Aldo was 11/10 yesterday.

A solid Thai-style striker (like Aldo) will have success against those spinny kicks. If odds were better I'd throw another hundred on Aldo, feeling he'll give McGregor a hard time even more.

The thing going for McGregor is that reach, timing and offensive footwork. His hand speed ain't fantastic, but he's effective. Being a southpaw helps too.

Speed kills tho, and Aldo is the faster man.

Exactly. MCGregor's reach is abnormal for a LW and he fight even longer than his reach.

I just think everyone is sleeping on Aldo's grappling. He has a huge advantage in that department and could really make this an easy fight.

Mcgregors grappling is no joke either. Watch the Gracie breakdown of the mendes fight.

They're on completely different planets in grappling. McGregor literally spend the majority of the Mendes fight on his back. And the only reason he got up was the end of the round OR Mendes moronically going for the choke.

Aldo can take McGregor down. If he takes him down, McGregor won't get back up unless Aldo lets him.

Most likely Connor. The 15 month layoff, the reach, size and movement. I think it'll be too much for Aldo.

Really tough fight to call, imo. I don't see the odds being wrong at all. I had to go deep into my well of friends to find someone to watch this card with, but I found some. I was considering going to the bar and watching this card by myself. I've looked forward to many fights more than this, but I really, really didn't want this fight spoiled since it's such a tough fight to call.

Aldo used to be very good on top especially if he had back control. But that was against guys similar in size if not smaller.

Man, i still can't pick who's going to win.

Man, you ain't kidding. I bet Aldo because I'll be rooting for him. But the truth is, I think McGregor's reach and pressure will be too much.

And im not even betting Weidman or Rockhold. I don't have a clue.

Maia - Nelson is crazy shit. Maia's jitz is really shining here against someone who is also great at it...

not betting weidman rock is super smart. I cannot pick. I am leaning towards weidman because he is smarter but who the hell knows.

Maia-Nelson might have been the most lopsided decision I've seen in MMA.

I may be in the minority but i think the whole no fence grabbing rule is dumb especially when guys are allowed to use their feet against the cage.

So what's with the UFC fight pass website? I've just signed up for the 7 day free trail, but I can't access live footage?
