The only thing that will beat Romero is his conditioning. I think he can get the best of anyone in the division until he gases.

McGregor is getting his ass whipped tonight.

This fight was garbage. Romero looks like a roided up club bouncer who only wins because of his strenght. He didn't impress me at all tonight and probably would have lost without the lucky spinning elbow (well, in fact, in probably did lose even with it)

He gasses early but has come back strong in rd 3 in the past. Seems to conserve his energy at times by not relenting as much in rd 2. Not sure if he can keep up the pace vs either rockhold or weidman tho

Intense 1st rd. Rockhold might have stolen it at the end. Very evenly matched in terms of grappling

  10. joony

    joony "Twinkle Toes" McJack

Weidman getting busted up with kicks. Rockhold winning rd 2

  11. D MAN

    D MAN "Twinkle Toes" McJack

Rockhold looks really comfortable in there

They both look a bit tired.

  13. Jimmy

Jimmy The Greatest of Are Times

two contrasting styles. Rockhold owns this off the mat. Weidman conserving energy early

yeah kinda weird to see them pumping after one and a half rounds.

With their size and the type of grappling they've been doing I don't find it surprising

IVs banned = cant be a 220 pound middleweight anymore

Fighting a guy in his prime vs 35 + year brazilian middleweights.

Im so unsurprised and underwhelmed with this. It's hilarious that anyone ever thought Weidman was anything remarkable.

  26. D MAN

So how much additional unnecessary beating will we see now ??

  27. His_Royness

Herb wanted to get rid of that early stoppage image of his...

Weidman needs a miracle here. Rockhold has this in the bag. Needs to keep going for takedowns and sustain top control

  29. joony

    joony "Twinkle Toes" McJack

Damn, what a performance by rockhold

    Thank God.

So sick of Weidman, his phony persona and his phony hype. Completely dominated by another nothing special fighter.
