This is a very good card. Dos Anjos and Cerrone are fighting for the LW title, but more importantly, they are fighting for a spot in the Conor McGregor sweepstakes.

How good is Cerrone? He's quite tall for his weight class.

Cerone is one level below Champion status IMO. Even if he wins the belt he wont keep it.

Cerrone is fun to watch but I agree with you. I never see him being a multi defense champion. He just doesn't seem to care that much about the belt as long as he is banking bonus money.

I don't think Cerrone can beat Dos Anjos anyway. I do think Dos Anjos and McGregor is an interesting fight.

He whom they call the one named BOSS likes this card a lot. He whom they call the one named BOSS would love to see Conor versus Cowboy.

Cowboy got destroyed in the first round against Pettis. He got outboxed and outclassed by Nate Diaz. He's still one of the top guys in the division. He's on a great streak now, 8 wins in a row. None of them were close except the Henderson fight. I hope he wins this weekend.

I've been watching Dos Anjos since he first came to the UFC. He seemed like a decent fighter. I never expected him to go on a run like he has recently, dominating top guys like Pettis and making it look easy.

Solid card, although I just don't see Cerrone being able to handle Dos Anjos. Dos Santos-Overeem is an awesome matchup and Overeem at 5/2 is tempting.

I would have picked the roided up overeem over Dos Santos. But current Overeem seems too weak and fragile (both physically and mentally) to do the job.

It will be interesting to see what Greg Jackson's plans for overeem will be.

Every version of Overeem is chinny and mentally fragile. But I was impressed by his improved movement and conditioning in his last fight with Roy Nelson.

And as Anthony eluded, you know he will have a solid game plan with Greg Jackson in his corner. 2-3 years ago I would have picked Junior without hesitation. Now, with Overeem's improvements and the shitload of miles on Junior, I think it's an even money fight.

I am curious to see who everyone is picking in this one?

JDS in his last fight looked like he wasn't the same fighter. at the same time, he can still absorb punishment and all he needs to do is hit overeem once or twice to make him fold. we'll see if overeem takes a similar approach like he did vs. nelson. if he stays at bay and since it's only a 3 round fight, he could possibly win.

JDS looked like he was in slow motion vs. miocic. but yea, can't ever feel safe picking overeem against any good to very good heavyweights.

Confident in Dos Santos and Dos Anjos both winning? I might place a double bet on them.

Overeem is a guy that is naturally weak minded, but I think that the roids were giving him a lot of confidence. He was throwing more and was a lot more determined than the current version. You say you were impressed by him against Nelson, but I think he looked terrible. Tentative and fragile. Roided up Overeem would have koed Nelson easily imo
