Brown would win by CRUSHING late round KO in a prime for prime fight. What about the Brown who beat Norris vs. the Cotto that just fought the Ginger?
Bad match up for Cotto. Brown was just too big and at his best does a ton of things that would give Cotto hell. To beat Brown you need a good motor, defense, discipline and the ability keep him at distance. Miguel's spotty stamina and relatively short reach could make for a bad night. Cotto would have some success by boxing but he'd be in the danger zone too much and would take too many big shots from Brown. I think Cotto does well early but Brown would grind him down and force a late stoppage.
Brown wins a very good fight. Stoppage in the late rounds. This reminds me how much I can't stand ignorant newbies know-it-alls. I brought up this topic over at BF24/ESB and people said Brown wasn't in Cotto's league and had no shot.
