Makes more sense for Luke to have had a secret fling with some Tattooine woman and then flee in shame because he knew that being a Jedi doesn't allow for a relationship. Perhaps Luke didn't know she was pregnant when he left, but when he sees Rey some 18 years later he "searches his feelings" and realizes that she's his daughter.

When Sidious/Palpatine fell it was into some shaft in the death star and there was an explosion of gasses of some sort which surely destroyed him. If he somehow survived the fall AND the explosion then he surely didn't survive the destruction of the Death Star.

Now...of course if George Lucas were once again writing teh narrative, he'd forget these facts, and somehow have Sidious become Snoke.

 

No, you're talking nonsense. She didn't remember who left her because she was very young when they left....too young to have been trained as a Jedi. Think about it!! If you were old enough to wield a lightsaber and be trained, you'd fucking remember who was training you....at the very least you'd remember that you were training as a jedi.

 

Rey is the lovechild of Luke and Lea. That makes her extra strong. She has jedi genes from both sides.

Ok...but that was one of Lucas' HUGE mistakes. Kiddie Jedi is as stupid a concept as kiddie ninja or samurai. Don't use Lucas' stupid logic to make sense of this.

But for argument sake, lets go with it...every person has memories from at least 4 years old. So assuming she wasn't being trained as a Jedi before that age...there's no way she wouldn't remember being trained, especially once she hears about the force and the jedi and Skywalker. At the very least that revelation would have sparked her memories.

 

He could wield it, but not like a trained Jedi. He only lasted as long as he did with Ren, because Ren was badly injured.

Shit...if lightbaser were real...the one that they call the Sly One could wield one and kick some ass with it too....but against an uninjured trained Jedi I would be dead in seconds.
