Actors considered to play young Han Solo

Disney supposedly looked at hundreds of young actors to be considered to play Han Solo in the planned Star Wars standalone film about the space pirate. Yesterday they released a short list of the current candidates for the role who is rumored have already been auditioned : Miles Teller (“Fantastic Four”), Ansel Elgort (“The Fault in Our Stars”), Dave Franco (“21 Jump Street”), Jack Reynor (“Transformers: Age of Extinction”), Scott Eastwood (“Suicide Squad”), Logan Lerman (“The Perks of Being a Wallflower”), Emory Cohen (“Brooklyn”) and Blake Jenner (“Glee”).

Me and thousands of Star wars fans are disappointed that Disney totally overlooked the young actor who is the perfect deadringer of Harrison Ford: Anthony Ingruber. Not only he nails Ford's manerisms, but can make a creepy Ford voice impersonation that leaves people baffled. in fact Anthony Ingruber has already portrayed a young Harrison Ford in 2015 Age of Adeline. When I watched that film I thought they CGI Ford too look young as that was HIS voice...or so I thought. I was wrong. It is all 100% Anthony Ingruber!

A reboot of a concept is one thing...for that you can potentially change the race of the main character. In a prequel (or sequel), you can't. Simple logic 101

I think Miles Teller would be fine.

I doubt this Ingruber kid can act much. He looked and sounded like an uncanny valley version of Harrison Ford in that "Age Of Adeline" clip. I think they need to leave the Harrison Ford impersonation out of it. He's playing Han Solo, not Harrison Ford. Tom Hardy didn't try to impersonate Mel Gibson when he did the new Mad Max movie.
