    well of course man. I have told people on here many times. If they grow up with a movie, they will think it's better than it really is. It's just human nature.

    Have you seen any of the Nolan Batman movies? Im not into Comics either, but a good movie is a good movie.

    Are you judging the film on that era's shooting lasers? Take a look at the set designs, the costumes, the retro spaceships with their pointy spears (that killed Ming), the campy dialogue, the one-liners, the subtle and not-so-subtle erotic imagery, the film pace, the music. This film is a riot!

    And btw I was 21 years old when I watched it.

    You pop up from time to time with some 'ironic' comment like you did with the Bowie thread:
    "ohhh I never really 'got' Bowie but 'The Laughing Gnome' was ahead of its time and 'Little Drummer Boy' is an atg."

    Same thing here. No-one fucking gives two fucks about Bowie/Crosby apart from it makes a great story about how Crosby had no clue Bowie was zonked off his tits on coke.
    Just like hardly anyone likes fucking Flash Gordon. (apart from maybe fucking Queen fans)
