Garcia vs. Guerrero.....

Guerrero 2-0 in my book. I can already smell a Garcia gift coming.

 

1-1. Guerrero gonna get beatdown

 

Guerrero looks like a washed up fighter that maybe put in two extra days training because the match is on TV. Garcia is just going through the motions.

 

3 rounds in, and I can't see how Danny Gift would beat Brook, Thurman, or Spence.

 

Is this fight on showtime?

Guerrero hurt Garcia in the 4th. He's whuppin this bum's ass.

 

Makes me cringe thinking about what a guy like Crawford would do to Danny.

 

Good second half of that round for Garcia but his power is not there at all.

Garcia is able to plant his feet and then throw winging shots which land. It's not even subtle. Experience alone should allow Guerrero avoid that.

Garcia is a warrior though. He may appear somewhat limited in skills, but he'll keep coming and coming and coming all the way till the final bell and if a guy goes to war with him he'll oblige. Garcia has heart, stamina, good chin and decent power. He looks average but he's a handful for anyone.

 

Garcia won but it wasn't impressive.

Brook should forget Khan and look to unify with Garcia.

 

Agreed, but he tends to fight to the level of his opponent and tonight there was no threat.

 

I agree. He is good and gets undue criticism. He lost to herrera but has a nice resume of victories

i dont really get into pound for pound, but the guy has beaten: matthysse, khan, peterson, holt, and guerrero. not hall of fame worthy. but pretty good compared to other current welters
