I never really "hated" Hamed but he's the perfect example of someone badly in need of a humbling.

  6. Rousey-Holm would be the perfect example...if only it were a boxing fight. I've already watched that beatdown over 20 times.

never realised until now, but sly's got a point. in Britain in the 80s Bruno was a big, stupid, loveable dopey black guy, a comedy character who did tv commercials and acted stupid on light entertainment shows. the 80s was a volatile time for race relations in the uk, and I can't see many black people looking at Bruno at the time and thinking he was a good role model. the guy was adored by the british public, but i'm guessing it was mainly just the white british public.

Because of Alabama Man's months and months of hype about the next P4P boxing king, Rey Bautisita, it made it fucking hilarious seeing Ponce de Leon ICE him in 1 round.

    The P4P canvas king. :laugh100:

Can't Believe i'm the first to name Wlad vs Brewster. Seeing a tough limited warrior making a supremely talented but heartless coward quit, is always satisfiying.

While both were orgasmic, the comeback Brewster pulled off, and the quitjob of wlad, made it much more satisfying imo

Terry Norris getting annihilated by Simon Brown in their first fight was another one. Norris had an impressive streak of wins and was considered near the top of the p4p list at the time. He was calling at JC Chavez (two weight classes below) to meet him at 147 and making a lot of insults towards him. Then he was fighting Brown on the undercard of Chavez-Holligan and Norris was a huge favorite. Brown had him wobbling all over the ring from round one and finally stopped him around the 4th round or so. When he was getting beaten from pillar to post, between rounds, they kept showing Chavez and his team warming up in the locker room and they were laughing their asses off at Norris's performance.

  28. word. Loved that one. Norris was a bully who picked on old washed up or undersized fighters. He needed to get his ass whupped.
