Fact is, Superman is stcking to the comic-book depiction of him, height/build-wise, but with Batman, they're once again giving him fucking armour because no-one can get into proper BatShape:

I don't get Gotham city vs Metropolis. I thought both were based on New York. So if Metropolis is DC's version of NYC, what does Gotham represent?

I think I'm looking forward to this one more than any other film this year. It has suddenly topped Civil war and X men. Can't wait!

 

This looks the (unintentionally) funniest movie of the year.

 

It might be the wrong choice of music, but this trailer left me cold. The initial Batman fight scene was good, though.

 

Cavill looks more "Supermany" in this one. They gave him the S curl this time, which is fundamental.

The latest buzz in Tinseltown is that the film was screened for Warner Bros executives and a few other people recently and that they didn't like what they saw. In fact the word is out that there is even talk among WB suits of scrapping the whole plan of doing a Justice League film if this film doesn't become the billion dollar box office monster the studio was hoping for. There have been many phone calls and meetings afterwards even considering firing Zack Snyder as the franchise helmer. Apparently they are more happy with 'Suicide Squad' than this film. Ironic if this is all true. It will be 'The Amazing Spiderman 2' all over again killing all the 'expanded Spidey Universe' plans from Sony.

Everyone in this thread has commented negatively about this shit movie so it comes as no surprise that WB hate it.

Well I was hyped, that is until you just shared that the film might be crap.

 

Difference is with this and Deadpool - for me - I thought Deadpool would be a decent movie that wouldnt make any money.

This, I hope will be a shit movie that doesn't make it's expected $750 million....

Why would Superman and Batman even fight? The whole idea is ridiculous. Same with Civil War...

 

Not a new concept: superheroes have been fighting each other since the Silver Age of Comicbooks. Heck even in the Golden Age The Human Torch battled the Submariner.

 

I watched 'Man Of Steel' last night just out of curiosity...and I liked the first hour or so....but the last 20-30 mins fight/destruction-fest just left me indifferent.
Superman and General Zod, trying to destroy each other and most of Metropolis...ends with a simple neck-break?!
