I'm wondering what the Chris Paul effect will be like on him. I can't see CP putting up with Green's being good only every third game and not saying something to him about it. So the question is, will Paul getting on Green make him better or kill his confidence? I think this will finally show us what Green is really made of.

Towns is Having the Better SEASON, but Porzingis Might Very Well Have More IMPACT on the League, When it's All Said and Done...Dude is an ATHLETIC Dirk Nowitzki, Only TALLER...Better Ballhander Too & Likely a Better REBOUNDER in Due Time...He's Ralph Sampson w/LEGIT Range...Sampson Could Knock Down the Occasional Jumper, but he was NEVER a 3pt Guy... Porzingis is Going to Have to Bust his Ass in the Off-Season and REFUSE to Get Sucked Into His Own NYC Hype, to Truly Fulfill his Potential...But Undeniably, the Motherfucker's Got a LOT Of It... Towns IS Going to Be Pretty Damn Good Himself Though, if Not "Special"...Okafor's Talented as Well & Hopefully Wallowing in Certified TANKage w/the Sixers Doesn't RUIN Him... REED:mj:
Of All the Deserved and Fitting Adjectives Hurled @ Steph Curry, Perhaps THE Most Appropriate is "Efficient"...His #'s, his Team's Won/Loss Record and his Game Film are All STUDIES in Efficiency...All REED Can Do is APPLAUD the Season Homey is Having:bravo:.... Speaking of "Efficiency", What's Up w/James Harden???...& HOW is it that We've Gotten to the All-Star Break and NOT a Single, Solitary Post from Harden/Houston Rocket Lover, Tex Mex???...Westbrook's MORE Efficient and Winning Considerably MORE Games...He's BETTER Than Harden, Bro...Just as he Was Last Year, the Year Prior, All the Way Back to When Harden Came Off the Bench in OKC... It's Comical How SPOILED the Basketball World is w/Bron...This is Basically a "Ho-Hum" Year from Him, STATISTICALLY Speaking...A "Meh" Season by His Standards... REED:mut:
Boogie's Points and Rebounds Speak for Themselves, but that FG% is PUTRID for a Big...Sure, Boogie's Good for a 3 or So a Game, but he Shoots Tooooooooooo Fucking MANY of Them...149, to Be Exact...Compared to his Previous Season High of 22... It's Good for a Big to Have a Degree of Perimeter SKILL, but it's Bad When that Big Spends Toooooo Much Time as a Perimeter PLAYER...If Boogie Finishes the Season @ or Near 300 3's Attempted (He's ON that Pace), that's Tooooooooooo MUCH Time on the Perimeter, Period... Anthony Davis DOESN'T Shoot as Many, but he's Compromising His Own FG% and Rebounds, w/His Own Perimeter Exploits...77's a Bit HIGH, @ the All Star Break...REED Would Like to See Davis Closer to 3 Blocks a Game, Too...It's Not a Bad Season @ All, but Davis Isn't INFLUENCIING Games (Especially in the Win Column) Quite Like he Did Last Year...His Play Hasn't Worsened, but it Hasn't Really PROGRESSED Either... Did anybody catch the GS vs Oklahoma game two days ago, what happened there? How did the Warriors get trashed like? I just watched GS beating Clippers. GS won pretty handily even though they gave up like ten points in last half a minute and Clippers got a chance to get to OT
It was Portland not OKC that beat them and it was mainly because Lillard was unstoppable. He ended up with 51 points and was hitting some crazy threes. Probably pissed about not making the all star team.
Exactly, and I think the same thing happened last season. As for my Okies, they have 2 more games against the Warriors and I guarantee OKC will lose both. Their defense is atrocious, their bench is unreliable, and they just don't play very smart basketball. Meanwhile you got people wondering when exactly did Westbrook become OKC's best player.
Cavs lost to Detroit today. I've been noticing something very consistent with LBJ lately. Whenever he's attacking the basket with a defender on him he is constantly doing some type of offensive foul against his defender to get his shot off. Most of the time it's a pushoff with his free arm or he'll even occasionally drop his shoulder into somebody and let his momentum do the rest. The worst part about it is how often the refs act like they didn't see it. Just watch him, for a quarter or two and tell me you don't see it.
The Thunder already have a jump shooting power forward, and even though Ibaka isn't an all around better player than Blake, I'm pretty sure he is a better jump shooter. Plus the Thunder's poor-mans-Blake-Griffin (Ibaka) is twice as good in comparison to the Clipper's poor-mans-Kevin-Durant (Green). So if I'm the Thunder I don't even consider that trade without at least a first round pick thrown in which the Clippers don't even have.
A KD/CP3 duo would be pretty fuckin amazing. KD on the Clips would make them the favorites next season. WB/Griffin would be a dangerous combo also. I've just never considered Blake as a prime time player performer come the playoffs.
All I know is the KD to GS rumors make zero sense. KD is a great player but he'd fuck up the dynamic of the Warriors. They honestly don't need him. His skill set is redundant on the Warriors with Steph there. Steph is the undisputed alpha on GS. They don't need KD coming in thinking he's Batman when he'd really be Robin. On the Clips, the roles would be more clear - CP3 would remain as the leader and general, but KD at the end of the day would be Batman and the first-option.
When Durant's Game Stopped EVOLVING, That's When...He's PERFECTLY Fine w/Jacking Up Ill Advised 3's, EARLY in the Shot Clock, from the Wing or Top of the Key...& if REED Hears Someone Brag about Durant Being a 50-40-90 Guy, or Whatever the Fuck it's Called, he's Gonna Throw Up... REED's Seen FOOTAGE of Dude Working On Dirk's 1 Legged Fadeaway, but REED Hasn't Seen it in GAMES from KD, All that Much...To the Degree that Durant "Needs" to Play in the Post, THIS Could Be his Go-To Move... But as Loooooooooooooong as Durant's CONTENT Being a 6'11 PERIMETER Player, it's Highly Doubtful We See Much IMPROVEMENT... REED:hammert:
I have a feeling that we'll never again see KD have a season as good as 2014. However, Westbrook will NEVER be as good as KD was in 2014.
If he goes to the Dubs or Clips he likely will. I just think he's a better FIT with CP3 than Curry. Paul's problem is that he has too carry too much of the offensive load in the playoffs, since Griffin disappears in the playoffs. With KD, ALLLLLL that pressure is off CP3 and he can gladly play 2nd fiddle. Curry & KD are redundant. KD brings great shooting and great scoring to the table. Curry's a better shooter and a comparable scorer. Totally redundant pair.
Maybe I'm looking too much into it. On PAPER, it's not even fair. As for Westbrook, if he's the only option on offense for OKC next year, then I easily expect to lead the league in scoring. But Russell Westbrook isn't exactly a guy you can win a championship with as "the man". He's not Curry. He's not Lebron. He's not prime versions of Kobe and Wade.
I wouldn't go that far. However unlikely it is right now, it's still possible they win one together sometime in the future, providing they stay together. Even split up it would depend on too many outside factors in which of them gets a ring, such as the team around them, the system they run and the build up of the teams they go up against.
It is premature for Neil to say that WB won't win a ring. OKC winning it all this year is unlikely, but not impossible. They're probably a bigger threat to the Dubs than the Spurs are.... problem is, they probably wouldn't get past the Spurs. And even in the very unlikely case they beat GS and made it outta the West, it just so happens that Lebron owns KD's soul.
they wont win it this year and durant will leave. i dont think it really matters who you put around westbrook. he wont defer at crucial times in the post season even when/if he has better options on his team.
