cruz's power is gone. i doubt he will get a knock out. too bad that first fight was over so quick. hope they have a rubber match. the first fight was excellent.
Yeah. Ceja hurt his ankle after getting knocked down seconds into the fight. Got back up and had no defense one one leg and was stopped immediately.
:laugh11: I will leave you cent-less if that fight ever happens. Frampton is good at winning the snoozer rounds. Santa Cruz throws over 100 punches per round.
Frampton is tight at 122. At 126 he's going to be bigger and more voluminous. He had also beaten a better Kiko TWICE before last night :nono:
Frampton's a good fighter. If you consider Santa Cruz a "bum" you're in for an eye opener if they fight. Quigg fought five rounds yesterday and had Frampton looking like he was ready to go in the end. Santa Cruz throws 100 punches a round every round and connects a good percentage. So we'll see.
LSC or Rigomortis end Frampton's reign he should rematch Quigg ASAP and even him winning that is 50/50. that midget will drown at 126
It's no coincidence that Frampton looked bad as the fight wore on and Quigg is better than Martinez too.
Frampton is athletic and has skill but he'd get pushed against santa cruz to fight at a completely different pace. Santa Cruz would use his length much better than quigg
The issue is whether the muscled Frampton can do things better with the added weight, or, more accurately, the window the extra 4lbs would constitute. My guess is he would be far less conservative. In addition, volume guys against a hydrated Frampton would leave gaps. Quigg fought bad but he was waiting for Frampton to weaken. Frampton in any event needs to leave 122lbs, he's done what he needed to do and is just going to get Donald Curried if he stays there too long, i.e. lost to an inferior fighter who has more in the gas tank.
