I didn't think OKC could possibly blow that game to the Clippers. That's the type of game that the Clippers blow.

OKC is really just a pussy hair away from being able to compete with the Spurs and the Warriors. I wonder how much better they might be with somebody like Thibs coaching them.

Actually removing the best player from a team doesn't always cripple the team like you'd expect. You should Google The Ewing theory to get a better understanding of what I mean.

Also I think Golden State would be a lot better than people think without Curry. With Curry they destroy teams, without him I think they still beat lots of teams because like the Spurs and Celtics for example they have an excellent coach and a very good system in place. Plus their defense is top notch. It's a lot different then horrible teams like the Thunder losing Durant or the Wizards losing Wall. Teams like that would spiral down the tubes without their stars.

I did. I predicted it in the 2nd quarter when we were up by 16 as we have played strong in the first half of games only to tighten up and blow leads in the 2nd half. Every time the Clips went on a run I felt like they were going to close the gap, which they did. And once they did I started hoping we would lose so the Thunder would take notice of this problem and address it.

What's up with Lebron's 3-point shooting? 28% has he stopped practicing it completely?

He got a lot better his last few years, but historically he's never been much more then an average 3 point shooter. He's had off years in that category before. He's never really seemed comfortable shooting 3's to me, even in some of his better years, so it wouldn't take much to throw him off.

I've always seen him as a guy who should be getting his 3 pointers at the line anyways, and his FG% from inside of 3, is still pretty exceptional.

So the Lakers just blew out the Warriors, who are only a few games ahead of the Spurs for the best record

The QUEST for 72-10 Just Got INTERESTING...

To BREAK that Record, the 55-6 Warriors Can Only Afford 3 More Losses, Obviously...w/21 Games Remaining, they Play the Spurs 3 Times, Portland Twice and the Clippers 1nce...REED Can't See Them Sweeping San Antonio...Hell, Wouldn't Surprise REED if the Spurs Managed 2 of those 3...Portland's ALREADY Beaten Golden State 1nce & The Clippers are as UNPREDICTABLE as it Gets, for Better or Worse...

& That's All Assuming No Other Subpar, Laker-Like Team Catches the Warriors Slipping...

I think they had to beat the Lakers today to have a slight chance. This one looks like they don't care for the record.

What about Dirk Nowitziki at age 38 to stabilize his scoring at 17 points a game for the last four seasons. If I'm not mistaken the last player who did that or more was the mailman.

Also fucking Ginobili chipping in 22 in 15 minutes the other day at 39...

I felt the Dubs were gonna break the 96 Bulls record... until the Lakers loss on Sunday. I have a feeling they're gonna fall just shy of breaking it. I can see them tying the record, though. But who knows, they still gotta shot at it.

Either way, they're gonna win 70 games, which in itself is amazing.

I think it's practice. I notice when his shot is falling he usually has a very fast back spin on the ball. More often then not when he misses there is less back spin and that kind of inconsistency is a sign you need to spend a little more time getting some shots up.

Good defensive performance by the Spurs against the Warriors tonight.

They did about as perfect a job as you can do on making every shot difficult for the Warriors.

And I agree that the Warriors are the rightful favorite for the title.

However, seeing how the wear and tear of the season has started to take it's toll on some of their role players, what happens if either Curry or Thompson miss time?

Either way, I'd be shocked to NOT see a Warriors-Spurs western conference final. I'd favor the winner of that match up to beat anyone in the east.

Curry Should Be Relatively Fresh....He's Sat Out the ENTIRE 4th Quarter of 15 or So Games This Season...But if he Gets Hurt, the Warriors have NO Chance...Though Faaaaaaaar from a 1 Man Team, the Warriors Obviously Revolve Around Steph...

An Injury to Klay Wouldn't Be as Disastrous, but REED Couldnt See Them Advancing Beyond the 2nd Round without Him, Either...

REED Still Gives OKC a Slight, Outside Chance of Coming Out of the West, but the Spurs and Warriors are the CLEAR Faves to Not Only Win the West, but the 2016 Finals....

if bogut plays then that will allow duncan to play more minutes. if the warriors arent able to push the pace they really dont have anyone who can match up with aldridge inside. spurs also had twice as many offensive rebounds. leonard had a bunch

Hopefully Dallas can pick it up from this. They have a chance to reach the 6th place but even that would put them up against OKC and it would most likely be all over in the first round anyways though

I have been their fan since the championship year (with otherwise no actual reason), also nice to see the old man still doing well in spurts.

Just like last year, it's possible the Cavs will benefit from the West teams beating each other up in the Playoffs, and they could show better in the Finals then we expect them to.

I mean, they gave Golden State a run for their money last year, even though they were decimated by injuries.
