Southpaw was a fucking HORRIBLE movie!

The fight scenes looked better in southpaw from the clips I saw

P4p number one Ppv superstar.....6 weeks later nobody on earth, not even kids in a boxing gym, seem to know who he is, only job he can find is mopping toilets and he's living in a shack. Every scene was ridiculous. The scene where his wife dies was LOLsome. horrible over-wrought mawkish shit

My favorite boxing movie will always be The Great White Hype.

 

Neither is special, but The Fighter was pretty good and a better movie.

The fight scenes sucked in it though.

I think a lot of the humor and jokes are more for the boxing hardcore fans. Which is part of the reason I love it, but the critics thought it sucked.
