It enhances his legacy as although we don't know who the opponent is at this stage Roy has to be considered the underdog.

No all time great in boxing history has made a bigger mockery of themselves than Roy has at this point. It's the most ironic thing. 15 years ago I woulda swore that it would be Tyson still fighting at damn near 50 because he needs the money, and making a mockery of himself. I expected Roy to not need the money, and to retire on time like Lewis did. Who would have EVER guessed? Tyson retires at the right time, and still has money coming in, and it's Roy broke as Hell fighting at damn near 50. Sad...
How did Roy lose all his money? I had the impression he was just fighting because he liked to. At least he isn't risking his health fighting dumskies like this...

I remember a few years ago, we were joking about Roy Jones fighting Reed so he could easily get his 50th win and retire safely. Never thought it would more or less happen (not the retiring safely part obviously)
Mike Tyson makes a mockery of himself with his cartoon series. That's better than fighting 15 years past your prime like Roy. Roy should have gone out on top and retired after the Ruiz fight. Or after the first Tarver fight when it looked like he was slowing down. His legacy as an all time P4P great would have been untouched. Instead he fights on for years when he's well past his best. And for several years after that.
Yeah, it's pretty good actually. :: Tyson has become really likable in his old age, mostly because he doesn't take anything too seriously. He's a legitimately humble dude.
