Saying prime Steve Collins is redundant isn't it? We assume fighters to be in their primes on this forum. Anyway, Collins May last the distance, he was tough. He'd lose nearly every round though.
Overrated and tough against whom though? He never fought any real massive puncher except Benn - and Benn was a) a puncher at 160 anyway and b) fucking shot.
Collins did have a very good chin. But I would think he likely gets stopped by Kov. Probably a corner stoppage, after Kov batters him round after round.
Yeah but I don't recall seeing him even get badly hurt much less stopped. So we have to assume he was tough. Xplosive has a point though a corner stoppage is possible given the likely one way nature of the fight
Collins was far more astute than Pascal and could keep his hands up. I cannot see him win this as he probably doesn't have the power to keep Kovalev honest, but I can see him go the distance. Collins would probably be the best fighter Kov has fought to date, age etc considered.
I can envision Collins going the distance if he were to turn into a "good boy" and play survival. If he were to say "fuck it" and go all out war with Kov as he did in the Eubank rematch, then I see him getting stopped.
