WOW...tough one...Miranda is a brute....but mentally fragile and his chin is also glass.... De La HOya at 160 wasn't much...had no snap on his punches or Power.... DLH by Decision....just cause...
I think Hoya wins, frankly... Miranda could punch but that is about it... He wasn't particularly good and his was an all-or-nothing game... He couldn't outbox DLH the way Sturm did, he'd try to KO him and I think Hoya's skillset is more than enough to offset Miranda's size advantage... I think Hoya stops him
I think Hoya wins, but I don't agree at all that he stops Miranda. Oscar had NO firepower at 160, and Miranda had a solid chin before Pavlik ruined it. But yeah, Miranda is too shitty to win this fight. He puts DLH on Queer Street a few times (a street Oscar quite enjoys, I would imagine) but is unable to put him away. DLH outboxes him for the rest of the fight.
Who did Miranda fight though before Pavlik? Even with mediocre power, Hoya would be hitting him clean as could be... I could definitely see him stopping him
Miranda got stopped by three guys.... Pav, AA, and Bute. All three much bigger than DLH and much more powerful at the weight.
