Is anyone watching this? It started at 7:30 am here. The first UFC event in Croatia.

JDS is my favorite heavyweight, but he hasn't looked the same since the losses to Cain. I hope he can turn things around today. Rothwell is on a big win streak.

The Black Beast is a beast. Huge knockout win over Gonzaga.

I'm so nervous right now, I can't even sit down. JDS should win this easy. I hope.

Brilliant performance by JDS. :) 50-44 if I was scoring it. He made it look easy like I thought he should. He landed like a million hard body kicks when his main strength is his boxing.

I thought he might have been damaged and past his prime prematurely from the last 2 fights with Cain. The way he looked today, he's maybe one win away from a title shot. He's already beaten Werdum and Miocic, the guys fighting for the heavyweight title next.

I could see it happening. If he gets a few top 10 wins, he'll get a title shot at some point soon.

I'd like to think JDS could be the next champion. :) Former and future champ. Overeem is ahead of him at this point, title wise, but Junior could get there.

The Black Beast will squash JDS like a little bug.

It won't be close, if JDS is at his best like he was tonight. Lewis won't last more than a round or two. JDS tonight beats everyone at heavyweight except maybe Cain. And Overeem.

    Which fighter?

I saw Crocop in the audience tonight. Too bad they didn't have UFC events in Croatia when he was in his prime.

Bojan Velickovic. The first fight of the card, he won a decision but I thought the Italian edged it. All the other Yugos got smoked though. That Chechen fighter is a beast.

he wasn't in the UFC in his prime though. He fell off pretty suddenly, at one point he was getting smacked around by everybody.

I missed that one. I thought the prelims were starting at 10:30 for some reason.

Crocop's prime ended at pretty much the same time that he joined the UFC. I would have loved to have seen prime Crocop against the best UFC guys at the time. He just got old as a fighter overnight. He didn't have the speed or confidence to land the big head kick anymore.
