I would agree. I pick prime Holy by decision over Lewis. I see Lewis, Holy, and Bowe as one of those triangle situations where Bowe had the style to beat Holy, Lewis had the style to beat Bowe, and Holy had the style to beat Lewis.
Lewis UD or TKO Holy of '92 was quicker and sharper but he weighed merely 208 lbs, was called a feather-fist and got hurt in several fights. Prime Holy lost 3-4 rounds to old Holmes too Against Lennox he needed the strength, the improved durability and punching power more than his earlier quickness and in the two fights he did as good as he ever would
word. But 1992 Lewis may have beaten 1992 Holyfield. I'm not sold on this American conspiracy theory that Lewis was better with Manny Stewart than he was in his prime years. People say that before Stewart he was knocked out by Mcall well with Stewart he was knocked out by Rahman. Lewis' performances against Tyrell Biggs and Razor Ruddock were as more more impressive as anything he did with Stewart.
Gotta go with Lewis via UD. I think he flirts with a stoppage too. Holy in the early 90s was often overtly aggressive and I think he tended to open up too much, hence that moment with Bert Cooper. Lewis by 1999-2000 fought smarter and used his height and reach to greater effect. I do think 92 Holy beats 92 Lewis, though
