The size difference between Frazier and Marciano is less than between Lewis and Holyfield. Heavyweight division has seen many huge weight disparities before, don't act like the magical "cruiserweight limit" will suddnely make this is mismatch in favour of Frazier...who btw was a small heavyweight himself.

It's not just the size disparity, but the styles. Both guys had a freight train like in approach. In a collision you have to take the bigger guy.

They may have both been aggressive, but Marciano had the better chin AND power in both hands. That negates Frazier`s edge in size.

Both Tyson and Ruddock were punchers. Ruddock was the bigger man and had dynamite power but just in his left. Tyson had the better chin and power in both hands. I think this is a reasonable analogy to Frazier and Marciano.

And I don't think it is. They were both huge punchers and could also take a shot but the similarities pretty much end there. Style, size, and skill level were all different.

While Marciano or Frazier might be underrated in some aspects neither could be effective in doing anything other than what they did. Come forward, get close and bang away.

Have to laugh at marciano having a better chin than frazier. Like he would have tAken these shots from foreman any better. Personally, i think frazier would easily beat marciano

Ali main defense was his footspeed and movement. Tyson is fast enough on his feet that i could see him close the distance and land numerous hard punches on ali, especially if he fights with his hands down, like he usually did. Nobody taking a lot of punches from tyson without getting koed. Still, ali is good enough that this scenario is far from a given, but i dont think we can dismiss it

    Exactly.

    Prime Frazier would hammer Marciano.

Bigger man, stronger man, and had a sizable edge in handspeed.

I find Eubank's chin to be vastly overrated.

Are you telling that Eubank had a better chin than Monzon, Toney, Hopkins, and McCallum? If so, I'm calling bullshit.

I've said MANY times before and will continue to say.... Chris Eubank is one of the all time most overrated.

Barring some hail mary, Tommy comprehensively outclasses him.

Exactly. The dude made a career out of robbing and struggling with mediocre euro scrubs. He's not beating Hearns unless he lands a Tarver

It's not the Foreman fight. It's every fight Joe was in, where he got hit..... he got hurt. Bob Foster hurt him.
