I think Khan feels less pressure going up against Canelo than he would against Brook. I think it comes down to the whole Brit pride thing rivalry he has with Brook that's spanned years.

No one in the world expects Khan to beat Canelo, and it's not like Canelo has ever been his rival or countrymen. So when Canelo smashes him, Khan won't be embarrassed.

I think Khan knows in his heart that he can't beat Brook, and he doesn't wanna get embarrassed in front of all England.

Khan has been taking digs at Brook by saying he's not fighting anyone (which is pretty much true), but as IBF champ he has mandatory obligations that he has to adhere to. And Khan's one to talk. Carlos Molina, Julio Diaz, Luis Collazo, Devon Alexander and Chris Algieri. That's hardly fighting the cream of the crop, is it.

Khan knows one thing for certain, he's getting paid very well to take this fight.

Every one of those blokes is better than the disgraceful rubbish Brook has defended his title against.

I think Shawn Porter trumps all those guys...

The rest I agree with you on.

Depends on if you get any pleasure out of watching Khan get beaten to a pulp.

Over the years, Khan has fought good competition. He's not one to duck opponents. Since the loss to Garcia he hasn't fought big punchers and has been obsessed with getting the big money fight with either Mayweather or Pac and neither happened. Yes, this is most likely his cash out fight. That being said, what he has said about Brook is true. Brook has a terrible resume. His best opponent was Porter and since that fight he may as well have pulling guys out of the crowd to challenge him. Hopefully we'll see Brook-Spence in the next year.

wow, that was garbage, why even sign for the fight if you're gonna stop your fighter from even taking a bit of punishment

Kinda academic. Tapia was taking a beating and hadn't won any rounds.

LeMoo was well on his way to a violent stoppage win.

Tapia should just retire. He's a game kid and all, but has absolutely ZERO talent.

Why even sign for a fight if you're not going to fight?

Lemieux looked good though, sure he's limited but at least, he knows what works for him and (usually) sticks with it. If canelo keeps on not fighting GGG, he should at least fight him.

Canelo would have no problems with Lemieux. But I think it would be fun will it lasted.

    A Mexican vs. a Muslim.

They should have held this fight at the Trump Tower.
