    Yeah, I tend to agree.

Sly won't agree, since I doubt he's even seen Valdez.

Have Valdez have a pet lion? Do Valdez ride in a 3 mil Lambo?

    Nope! I can't respect him.

Rodrigo Valdez obviously wasn't very good or he would've been known as "dinero"

    The Sly One has SPOKEN!!!

  9. Word. I've never seen Valdez and as such I have no opinion on this one. In the interim I'll defer to the consensus since you guys have seen him fight.

Lol. I've only seen him against Monzon and that was a while ago. I'll check out some of his fights today and tell you why and how Tito knocks him out. Or not.

  11. X and cdogg you guys crack me up with your impressions of me. Lol!

Come on guys, since when have I been all about cars and losses? I'm a reasonable chap with solid arguments to back up my opinions.

    Be nice. ;)

Sly, I think you're fantastic... I just think 99% of your boxing opinions are beyond insane:bears:

Valdez was a bigger puncher than Tito at 160 and had a much better chin.

  14. lol.

When it comes to picking actual fights my record stacks up with anyone. Mythical Matchups is just a popularity contest around here , but I've proven my knowledge of the game when fights actually happen . Just admit it, you're biased towards bygone eras and against modern fighters and I'm thenonlynone that actually challenges you on your shit. Lol

    Better boxer too

  16. Whoa. I've never seen this Valdez fight but bigger puncher than Tito? Tito had the same punch at 160 that he had at 147 relatively. He brought his power up. Not many guys punch harder than Tito. To punch harder than him you're in Hearns category. Was Valdez as powerful as Hearns?

Only guy to ever stop Bennie Briscoe

The Trinidad that fought at 154 is more Rigo's size and a more well rounded fighter. I see him generally out boxing Valdez and coming through rough spots to land the cleaner punches. Valdez was tough and strong but you see against Briscoe he can be put on the defensive and he's not going to wear down Tito on the ropes half blocking punches.

At 160 Trinidad was less about attrition and having a well rounded offense and more about power. But he had it and Valdez would get hit clean with it. But Trinidad actually got slower and more clunky as the rounds go on at 160 when it was the opposite at lower weights. If Rigo can handle the power for 5 or 6 rounds I think he comes on and stops Tito late, but that's a big if.
