Agreed. Mystique was always a fringe character in the xmen. Cyclops should be the one running tings

 

In the last few days I have re-watch the 3 X-men movie...and the one Wolverine movie Origins...will be watching the other wolverine movie the one in asia somewhere...plus the latest two movies: days past and first class...or whatever they are called.

Romijn is definetely beautiful...more so that Jlaw...but for the latest movie they someone who can actually act...love Romijn but she isn't much of an actress...

 

But her role was secondary anyway. Now with JLaw is practically the central character. Mystique is supposed to be a baddie, not a freaking X-Men!

I watch all the X men...and Wolverine movie...and surprisingly my favorite one is the Wolverine in Japan one....it's bloody..and brutal...and GOOD...

How many times can I watch Wolverine claws go into someones chest...stomach...and NO BLOOD...NONE...fuck that!!

 

I thought Quick Silver was killed in the second Avengers film?

By the way not a big fan of any of the X-Men films. They're okay for one time viewing but the only one I've been able to watch numerous times was the second X-Men film. Days Of Future Past was worse than the one that preceded it and the two Wolverine films are on Daredevil and Fantastic Four levels of horrible.

This honestly doesn't look like it'll be that good either but I'll still go check it out. I'm not counting down the days though.

NO! NO! NO!!!

This film is getting BAD REVIEWS!!! :crying: 43% rotten at RT. Why? why? why? I want this to be a great film! As good as 'Civil War'...but critics said it is a big convoluted mess overloaded with so many characters that it feels like a traffic jam!

 

That's unfortunate. I always knew it wouldn't be as good as civil war but I was hoping it would be close.

 

I am still watching it on its opening weekend. It cannot be worst than X-Men Origins: Wolverine which I watched only once on DVD. Maybe critics are having 'superhero fatigue'? I mean this will be the FOURTH superhero film in just four months!

 

Bryan Singer is a so so filmmaker so it wouldn't surprise me if it disappoints . The fact that mystique is the star is already a problem

 

Yeah that's true: Singer is hot & cold. He can make a great movie and then follow it with a turkey (remember that awful 2013 fantasy film Jack The Giant Slayer?).

 

Shame if it is mediocre. That would make two X-Men duds in a row. Days of Future Past was HORRIBLE.

However, X-Men First Class is one of the better all time super hero movies. It was an AWESOME movie!

I was hoping Apocalypse would be on the same level.

 

X men first class was very good but X2 is still my favourite from the franchise. DOFP was just ok on first viewing but gets better every time you see it. Most people actually rate it over first class. The opening action sequence in DOFP is the best action sequence of the franchise to date. You finally got to see iceman on his slide and all the xmen in action at once.

 

I disagree. X-Men: Days of Future Past is on par with X2: X-Men United at the top of the franchise.

 

Critics payed by Disney are on it again. They cant be taken seriously after all the praise for the shitty remake Star Wars TFA.

 

If Disney's paid critics think this movie is bad, than this is definitely a great movie.

 

Rainmaker, most people I know told me that they didn't enjoy batman va superman, some actually said it was shit. Were they paid by Disney as well? Conversely everyone I know that has already seen civil war absolutely loves it. So perhaps civil war is just a far superior film.

 

Most people I know absolutely hated TFA. They thoight it was a xheap copy. Yet, the movie got raving reviews.
