Benedict Cumberbatch during a break filming on location in New York City, decided to visit a nearby comicbook shop...in full costume, nonetheless! People there were thrilled.

Nah! I am taller, darker and handsome unlike that fat boner. In fact I am way taller than Cumberbatch who is only a plain 6' 0".

But it lost Michael Keaton who was rumored to play the villain either The Vulture or Mysterio! Too bad as Keaton just looks like The Vulture's older baldy guy.

Bad news for Marvel fans: The studio has once again moved the 'Inhumans' release date, but this time no date have been announced for its release, so there is concern that the project was just shelved for good. After all, these characters are the least recognizable by average moviegoers, even though they have been around since the Silver Age of comicbooks in the 1960's when they first appeared in the pages of 'Fantastic Four'. While I lament this decision, it is a fact that the powers of these group of characters will require a lot of special effects plus their very nature will have to be developed for the screen in a way that could translate into a mega budget production. If Disney is hesitant to pour a hefty amount of bucks on such an obscure project is understandable: a risky production that could turn into Marvel's version of 'Watchmen' profit-wise speaking. So Disney grabbed the date originally separated for 'Inhumans' and now it will be the next 'Indiana Jones' replacing it. After all, everybody knows Indy.

I always dig Medusa, the chick with the 'octupus-like' hair. She even once dated Johnny Storm.

Well no one heard of the Guardians of the Galaxy before that film (I certainly hadn't) but it did very well. Still, I see the point.

Good points by both you and Panchy.
Guardians Of The Galaxy worked so well because of the script, light humor and interplay between characters.

I can't see how they can do that with The Inhumans....and let's face it, they're very closely linked with The Fantastic Four and no-one's got them right so far...

Also the fact that they belong to a half alien race whose civilization has developed simultaneously with ours in the deepest of Earth's undergrounds will require massive sets, tons of special effects and a great script with a masterful director to pull that off.

    HOLY MACARONI!!

The most recent online buzz is that something BIG is cooking at Marvel after the announcement of 'The Inhumans' film being postponed. That news brought a lot of rumors and speculations that either the film was being cancelled or that Marvel was getting the X-men franchise back. Someone who has very close ties to both Marvel & Fox responded on twitter, "Neither one, but what it is WILL BLOW YOUR MIND!" Which started a new speculation that Marvel & Fox are in negotiations like they did with SONY for Spiderman. FOX will be crazy to give their golden goose, X-Men, to Marvel, BUT...what about that failed franchise, Fantastic Four and all its related characters, like Silver Surfer & Galactus which Marvel wants so bad? Speculation is that Marvel & Fox will cut a deal for Marvel to use some of those FF characters and maybe share some of Marvel signature characters in the X-Men franchise. After all, Marvel has used The Hulk in the Avengers films while the character's rights still belong to Universal. which gets a piece of the action from Marvel. Same deal can be cut with Fox. So now it makes sense for the 'Inhumans' to be pushed back. Why? because they were not only introduced in the pages of FF, but are intrinsically connected to the FF storyline. By bringing FF to a Marvel project, the InHumans will make much more sense. So is better to develop other projects were FF could be part of and then introduce The Inhumans.

Ah, the possibilities! Avengers vs X-Men anyone? :mj:

While the buzz news on Marvel are nothing but exciting, the total opposite is brewing at rival DC & Warner Bros. The latest rumour is that Zack Snyder and WB are having epic clashes over the 'Justice League' film and the whole direction of the DCEU. And to hit this in the nail both 'The Flash' film director, Seth Grahame-Smith and 'Aquaman' director James Wan have departed production to pursue other projects. And it appears that Snyder might be replaced for 'Justice League' after the failure of 'Batman v Superman'.

Directors clashing with their studios leads to crap films more often than not.

Not always. Richard Donner had a miserable time fighting his producer Pierre Spengler and his executive producers Alexander & Ilya Salkind over the creative aspects of 'Superman: The Movie' and still delivered a great film. Of course he got fired as soon as the film opened. But you are right: Snyder is NOT a Richard Donner.

Marvel has announced that, by popular demand from fans, they are 'committed' to a Black Widow solo film (are you paying attention WB/DCEU? they listen to fans!). While there is not a release schedule date yet as all projects are booked until 2020, there is an 'untitled' Marvel project for that year, so that could be it. Black Widow in the comicbooks was actually the #15 character to join the Avengers contrary to the movies were she is one of the founders. In the comicbooks it was The Wasp one of the original team members and the one character who coined the team name The Avengers!

Marvel announced that Academy Award winner Lupita Nyong'O will join the cast of Marvel's Black Panther as she will star as King T'Challa's unknown romantic interest. This is a brilliant selection since Marvel Films can't cast T'Challa's comicbook romantic partner (Storm from X-Men) due to copyrights to that character remains at Fox. Also Michael B. Jordan is joining too the cast possibly as a villain. It was expected as he remains director Ryan Coogler favorite actor. Can't wait for this film!

In DC News Ben Affleck will now be executive producer of Justice League a role that had director Zack Snyder until recently.
Willem Dafoe will join the cast of 'Justice League'.

I'm glad that they've cast Lupita Nyong'O instead of some barely black actress like they usually do (like Halle Berry or Zoe Saldana). If Wakanda is an African Nation then the people wouldn't be mixed they'd be black.

Word. And I am glad that they also cast Ugandan-born actress Florence Kasumba as T'Challa's Security Chief, the head shaved woman with the killer ass that tells Black Widow, "Move. Or you will be moved!". That's from the comicbooks as she most likely is a member of the Dora Milaje, a squad of elite female warriors who protect the King of Wakanda.

Now for some really, really baffling news. No, scratch that, this is TERRIBLE NEWS! Just when you thought that after that colossal critical & financial fiasco that was Fantastic 4, the IDIOTS at FOX decided to still go ahead with the sequel. After this failure the general consensus was 'sell the rights back to Marvel or at least cut a deal like Sony did with Spider-Man. But no. These MORONS at FOX want SOOO BAD to be players of a cinematic universe, that their whole reasoning for the sequel is 'we'll make it brighter, we'll make it fun! and Josh Trank will not direct it!" God, what twisted dimension these people come from? This youtuber summarized all we fans think of this decision:

Yup, but the sad thing is that this will mark more years of delay before the rights of these characters go back to Marvel. So forget about any decent Namor the Submariner movie incarnation or a worthy Galactus & Silver Surfer in a Marvel film,

DC needs to rid themselves of Zac sneider and his incessant flashback having , changing of character natures ass. I like the dark tone of his films, I don't mind that, but he takes too many liberties with other things and doesn't create a nice smooth flow.

I think marvel has done a good job so far just that their films are too lighthearted. I prefer darker films with less humour.

Marvel has the mass appeal formula down though. Civil War was fun even when they revealed who killed Tony's family.

It isn't as bad off as people make out. BvS wasn't good but still made nearly a billion dollars. Hardly struggling. The future projects are the concern but this move should help a lot.

It was a disappointment both critically & financially. Warner bros was expecting a over $1 billion revenue and fan excitement for the follow-up films. Not only it failed to crack $900 million worldwide, but it cost so much (budget & marketing) that it might end up losing money, not much, but not the profit monster they hoped it to be. On top of that, except for rainmaker and other delusional hardcore fans, not that many people liked it and will give a damn about a Justice League. If Suicide Squad becomes a hit then maybe they can do a battle royale between the SS team vs the JL team. That could be appealing. But if Suicide Squad is also meh, then the whole DCEU should be scrapped and send to the CW to join Flash, Arrow & SuperGirl.
