I've heard this song a million times before. I heard and paid attention the actual lyrics today for the first time. I didn't know it was about the dude's dad. This changes my whole opinion of this band.

Derek Trucks is far and away the best guitarist of this generation. Of course, he could say that way back when he was 13.

lol.... I used to be in a band with the lead singer of this shite. I taught him his first chords/songs on guitar. I'm partly to blame. Can't embed on this stupid mobile

Lamb of God - Now You've Got Something To Die For

This was powerful in 2004 when it came out. This is actually a favorite song for lots of people in the US military who were sent to Iraq.

I saw them in Oakland tonight. Technically last night. They always put on a great show. One advantage of being single - the mosh pit. Fuck yeah. I've gotten used to standing in the back at concerts, because my gf wouldn't survive up front.

I tried taking some videos, but it didn't work out. It's hard to hold a phone steady when the crowd is moving like that.

I tried. I got about 8 seconds of video, longer than my other attempts.

Jimmy The Greatest of Are Times

I used to go to Camden underworld a lot when I was a teenager. Some good times. Saw a lot of metalcore/hardcore metal bands. The pits were brutal!

It's more fun being there right up front. :) Compared to standing in the back and watching from a distance. This was my first time in a mosh pit since 2012, before I met my last gf.

I haven't been to see those types of bands in a long time. To be honest I've moved on from those days, but I still like a few songs from certain bands. The vocals don't appeal to me anymore. I understand that many enjoy pits because it's a way of releasing built up tension/anger, but they're dangerous too.

I like that song. Are those guys touring the US?

Haha I'd be surprised, man. They're about tenth down a bill of local bands at the west end festival in a few weeks....doubt they have a deal.

Love her stuff with Marvin Gaye... She was such a cutie, poor thing

  29. I prefer her version to Stevie Wonder´s 15 years later: amazing drum sound and almost a ´big-band´ version...
