It's official, he's fighting TBD at UFC 200. They'll announce the opponent on Monday. Speculation is it's Mark Hunt. This could be the greatest card of all time.
Well, that's a good reason for the UFC to tell McGregor to fuck off. Lesnar wasn't exactly good in his prime. If he tries to spend more than 3 seconds on his feet against Hunt, he's going to lose easy. I guess that's not fair. I wasn't sure if anyone was better than Lesnar when he was the champ, but he doesn't figure to beat anyone in the top 6? these days. He probably loses to most guys in the top 20, but he'll be able to get some wins with careful matchmaking. Hunt? Losable fight if he doesn't just take him down right away and it's not that easy to take Hunt down as far as I can remember.
Brock / Fedor would be a dream come true if it happens. Even if they're both past their primes. Brock / Fedor would make UFC 200 the biggest selling UFC event by far. The card was already stacked. If he fights someone like Hunt or JDS, it would be interesting. We'd find out right away if he can hang with today's top heavyweights. Diaz / McGregor has been confirmed for UFC 202. I'm happy for Nate. This will be his biggest payday by far.
