    Even at 160?

Yeah yeah I know he beat the immortal Ray Robinson, but Robinson was almost 40 at the time.

But still nowhere near as old as Louis when he fought Marciano.

I think even at 160, he's still good enough but he was definitely better as a Welterweight ... I don't think I'd pick Vito to beat that same Robinson... He'd rough him up and pressure him but I think he'd lose

I see this fight as a scrappy bruising bloody fight but with neither man seriously hurt. Gatti ward type deal without the knockdowns

Basilio was definitively better than Antufuoermo, but I wonder if he's too small to win this one.

I don't know, Antuofermo was rugged but he wasn't a monstrous-sized guy himself... Fullmer was far stronger, IMO and obviously better than Vito and Basilio was probably on the downside when they fought and it was still a major struggle for Fullmer to stop him

No question Basilio was at his best as a welterweight, though

seriously... It's like seeing a Arguello/Chavez mythical match and saying "I see this as sort of a Jorge Paez/Troy Dorsey type of affair"

Sly does this all the time with the better white fighters.

He would see Marciano vs Quarry as a Brian Minto vs Vinny Maddalone type affair.
