Apparently, There's NO Need to Actually WATCH Guys Play, When You Have Analytics... This Same Dipshit Also Labeled Rebounding a "Meaningless Stat", 1nce Upon a Time.... REED
Pretty sure I never said that. What I probably said is that raw rebounding numbers have a slight bias towards number of missed shots and that rebounding rates are more important as they capture the true essence of a great rebounder (getting rebounds that are actually available to him). Contested rebounds is one of the most important analytics in basketball
We can take his statistical outlier 14-15 season where he shot a career high 41 percent from three and had a career low turnover rate. He also had a decent season defensively by his standard. This statistical outlier Kyrie Irving was a top 25 player. However, if you take 13-14, and 15-16 you have a clear break even player. Minor positive offensively, major negative defensively, and there isnt a single metric you can look at that would tell you otherwise. RPM, Adjusted RPM, raw Plus minus, 82games SIMPLE rating, M, Winshares..... all of them are in agreement.
Paul Millsap Al Horford Dennis Schroder Isaiah Thomas Jae Crowder Brook Lopez Thaddeus Young MKG Kemba Walker Marvin Williams Nicolas Batum Jimmy Butler Pau Gasol LeBron James Kevin Love Dirk Nowitzski Chandler Parsons Wesley Matthews (pre injury) Nikola Jokic Will Barton Danilo Gallinari Tobias Harris Reggie Jackson Andre Drummond KCP Stephen Curry Draymond Green Klay Thompson Andrew Bogut James Harden Dwight Howard Patrick Beverley Paul George Chris Paul JJ Redick Deandre Jordan Blake Griffin Mike Conley Marc Gasol Zach Randolph Hassan Whiteside Dwyane Wade Chris Bosh Goran Dragic Kris Middleton Giannis Antetokounpo Greg Monroe Andrew Wiggins Ricky Rubio Karl Towns Anthony Davis Eric Gordon Jrue Holiday Tyreke Evans Ryan Anderson Carmelo Anthony Kristaps Porzingis Kevin Durant Russell Westbrook Steven Adams Victor Oladipo Aaron Gordon Nikola Vucevic Eric Bledsoe CJ McCollum Damian Lillard Demarcus Cousins Kawhi Leonard Manu Ginobili LaMarcus Aldridge Tim Duncan Kyle Lowry DeMar Derozan Derrick Favors Gordon Hayward Rudy Gobert John Wall Marcin Gortat Thats 83 players I found who have had unquestionably a more positive impact than Irving this year. SO maybe you can put him in the top 100...however theres another 15-20 guys that are arguable.
Warriors should be fine-ish... Makes it more of a swing game but Livingston has been there most important player, they can find him more minutes.
maybe green is the one guy who allows them to play a small line up and still have someone who protects the rim a little bit. either kerr will play bogut more or if he tries to go with 5 perimeter guys james should have a free path to dunk or lay the ball in. even with green in there i am surprised james doesnt take it to the rim and finish when he's the biggest guy on the court. if irving is making shots and james is aggressive they have a good chance to send it back to cleveland with green out. he's a big factor.
I dunno how anybody can be a fan of James. Of all the superstars in sport's history, NONE have been as soft/whiny as James. That faggot intentionally whined his way to a Green suspension. Jordan wouldn't have pulled that bullshit! Never in a million years! Jordan's mentality was "Nahhh, don't suspend him! I want him to play the next game so I can light him up." But nope, that's not Lebron. That's not his mentality. Deep in his heart Lebron has ALWAYS been and WILL ALWAYS BE a front running, whining faggot. But of course, his groupies will never admit this.
One has to believe that if James had to go up against the physicality and trash talk of the 80s Pistons or 90s Knicks, that mentally he would come undone. The physical ability gap between Jordan and Lebron has never been much. The mental toughness gap between the two is HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGGGEEEEEE.
Lebron would have just been another great talent who didn't win a ring had he been around in the 80s-90s era. He doesn't have the toughness to have played in that type of physical era night in night out. And this behavior confirms it, plus all the whining and diving/flopping he does.
Or Miller. Reggie wasn't a great defender, but he sure as Hell knew how to talk trash and get in guys heads. Lebron crying to 90's.... "Ref!!!! Reggie called me a bitch!! You gone throw him out!?!?" 90s Ref:
Ironic that Green's suspended for a swing toward Lebron's groin when he clearly has no balls. Green is a bonehead at times but I would have taken issue with Lebron stepping over me as well. I guess that was his attempt to redeem the legacy of his coach. If what's being reported is true, LeBron is a sensitive dude. Green looked him in the face and called him a bitch. Lebron replied that he has a wife and three kids. Green looked at him and said, you're still a bitch. That's what set LeBron off. I'm sorry, that's no where near over the line. Not even close to it. Based on Green's playoff history with flagrants the punishment fit the circumstance.
Soft as a fuckin marsh mellow if true! Can you imagine the shit that Starks/Mason/McDaniels/Rodman/Miller/Payton were probably saying to Jordan???? I can almost guarantee you how it prob went down: Starks to Mike "You a bitch!" Mike "Yeah... and you still can't fuckin guard me!" Green to Lebron "You a bitch!" Lebron "Heyyyyy, it's just a game! I got kidssss mannnnnn!!"
I can only imagine what Bird heard in the 80s. Prob every possession he heard someone say, "You can't fuckin play, white boy!" To which he prob responded "This white boy bout to light your ass up!"
I don't know if Lebron is a front-running bitch or not, I can't follow the sport that closely. Also I don't know what is said on the court. However, apparently he has been able to get one key player of the superior team out of the game. Thinking this way, isn't LBJ everything to help his team to win, and isn't that the whole point of the game? I know it is shameful, butmost sports have very little to do with pride, the mentality is to win in any possible way. If that includes bitching to referees or flopping, so be it.
LeBron isn't that calculating. His whining nature kicked in, not his intellect. He instigated the situation because he was frustrated they were losing and he was a non-factor and getting shut down in the 4th when it mattered most. That's where his head was at.
With Green in the lineup it was a basically a foregone conclusion that the Cavs were losing tonight. Now, they have somewhat of a chance, BUT... they're still gonna lose tonight. The Warriors are too deep, even without Green. They still have the MVP, they still have Klay, and they're INCREDIBLY hard to beat in Oakland. AND... they have extra motivation as they'll wanna make a statement for Green getting suspended. Lebron looks burnt out, Love has quit on the team, and Irving is a selfish chucker. It's STILL over tonight, even without Draymond.
James hasn't been able to take it to the basket because Green and Iggy and Livingston are usually clogging up the lane and have gotten good at stripping him of the ball before he gets to the basket, leading to lots of his turnovers. Referees aren't calling ticky tack fouls so guys have had more freedom to play more aggressive then normal. Worked in Cleveland's favor in Game 3 smothering Curry, but Golden State seemed to figure it out by the next game. Green is one less guy to do that to him now, so I imagine he will try to be more aggressive in Game 5. I expect Cleveland to win tonight and Golden State to close it out in Game 6.
Curry needs to make a statement tonight, and I think he will. I think he'll go for 35+, the Dubs win, and Lebron will look even WORSE! Dray might be the heart and soul of the team, but they ALL have heart and they all play intelligently and as a unit. The Cavs are naturally front runners because they're LEAD by one. And their SECOND best player is an ISO chucker. Cavs will make a run, but they'll come mentally undone down the stretch. They can't win a close game against the Dubs. They just can't. They're too dumb, and the Warriors execute in the clutch about as well as any team in history. So, once again, they gotta blow out GS to win. And I'd say the chances of them blowing out GS in Oakland are pretty slim.
Lebron is too talented NOT to have been a great player in any era. This isn't about Lebron NOT being great. It's about him NOT being Mike because Mike was 10x mentally tougher and just in general, meaner.
Yeah, he probably would have hardened up quicker. Got all his crying and whining out of his system by the end of his sophomore season. Ended up playing more like Karl Malone to combat the physicality.
Rumors of Melo coming to Cleveland. Yeeeeeeaaaaaaa, that'll work..... Irving and Melo on the same team? Lebron will never see the ball again.
i think it can work. anthony can get buckets. he's a lot better fit than love who is proving to be a pussy. anthony also is more mobile to match up against this small ball craze
