Pretty simple question: P4P who's better?

One thing for sure, Loma is several levels better than Shitnelo.

Loma beaten better guys in fewer fights it must be said.

I'd rank him top 5 right now.

Loma is the more well-rounded, but my hunch is that GGG is more superior against fighters of his size

No contest really. Considering how brief his pro career has been, definitely Loma.

    Loma's faced better guys.

GGG no doubt. Loma has not been matched against an elite fighter. Older past their prime level B fighters like Salido (loss) and featherfisted Martinez can barely do anything to put him in the P4P ranks IMO.

Golovkin. Maybe his resume is a bit lacking but at this point he has more title defenses than Loma even has fights.

    "No contest" though?

So, if they were the same natural weight, you'd pick Loma to win without any hesitation?

Hard to tell. Both have enormous potential, but havent really beaten an elite fighter yet. Loma seems to be much more ambitious though, so i think hell end up having a better career by far (unless you're a calzaghe fan who thinks that being undefeated while only fighting rabble is more impressive than fighting numerous top fighters and losing a few)

Lomachenko by a lot and I've always said so. No disrespect to GGG who is fantastic but Lomachenko is just that good.

I thought Lomachenko looked superb against Martinez. Martinez was a very weak champ, though.

We've all seen Lomachenko get outworked, outtoughed, and outslopped. We've never seen anyone do shit to Golovkin other than land a few punches.

I rank GGG higher because I think he's better. Could be wrong.

Loma is definitely more flashy, but Golovkin punches harder. Loma has fought better top opposition and Golovkin has more title defenses. It's hard to say really. But if you watch them boxing, Loma looks a bit more special indeed.

Lemieux is EASILY better than shitty ass Martinez!

Now, Russell Jr is better than any single fighter Golov has beaten, but Russell Junior is a guy who we all saw flaws in and expected him to be exposed. P4P Golov would KO Russell Jr and we ALL know that.

To answer my own question, I don't think Loma is as good as Golov.... YET!

Will he be better when he reaches the very apex of his prime? Most likely, yes. Dude is still 27. I think he'll be at his VERY PEAK at around 29-31 and at that peak I think he'll be better than Golov ever was.

Golov IMO has about another 2 years still he starts to decline.

Kov is less flashy than both, yet has beaten better fighters than both. If he beats Ward this year, he officially blows both their resumes away by far.

What's most impressive about Kov is that Loma and Golov were amongst the best amateurs of all time and EXPECTED to be special from the moment they turned pro. Kov wasn't nearly as highly touted turning pro, and no one considered him special til he destroyed Cleverly.

P4P Loma would beat up Crapnelo worse though.

Golov will beat down Crapnelo, but at least he'll be there for the Ginger to land some shots on.

Loma's angles and footwork would COMPLETELY dominate that lead footed fucker.

I don't think it's outta the question that if both reach their potential that Loma and Spence will be the best fighters in the world in 3 years.

    Well, probably still behind Chocolatito.

I don't believe in this. It's like trying to argue that Tommy Hearns would be a 6'9 Heavyweight or wald pussy would be a 5'10 Bantamweight ... All fantasyland stuff

w/the Exception of Golovkin, Lemieux's Lost to INFERIOR Fighters than Those Who've Managed to Beat Martinez...Lemieux's Style May Be More PLEASING to the Eye, but there's Literally NATHAN Suggesting he's "Easily" Better than Martinez...

Fuuuuuuurthermore, How do "We ALL Know" GGG KO's Russell, Pound for Pound???...How Many Lightning Quick Southpaws w/Some POWER has GGG Faced???...

Posts like THIS is What Irks GGG Naysayers; Dude is Afforded Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay More Luxuries than Warranted...Gary Russell's NEVER Been Stopped (or Even DROPPED, if REED's Not Mistaken), in his Only Loss, he Took his 12 Round Ass Whipping Like a MAN, Yet YOU Say "We ALL Know" GGG KO's Him, Pound for Pound???...What EXACTLY is that Based On, Because it CAN'T Be Based on WHO GGG's Faced Thus Far...
