Lebron's greatness is forever set in stone. He is now in the upper pantheon of all time greats.

That block when the score was 89/89, ONLY Lebron makes that play. No other NBA great makes that play when it's made, not Jordan, not Kobe and certainly not Magic or Bird. And nobody come back and name big men because none of them would have gotten back fast enough to get that shot. Maybe Pippen but that's it. Kyrie hit the game winner but that block was the play of the game in phonetap's opinion.

    This.

I hope every one enjoyed that, because we will never see it from Lebron again. The challenge was clear for LBJ these finals, and not only did he overcome it in historical fashion, he did it emphatically. "We are all witnesses".

Props to Irving too, he was remarkable.

    Wow!

I supported GS because I enjoyed their games so much during the season but I am happy for Lebron. Hopefully this, finally, puts an end to the crap that he is 'not a winner'.

Hopefully also Cleveland gets its props and we don't hear that choking crap. Maybe GS grew tired but that's part of the game. Cleveland figured out a way to overcome them and did it in style

To win 3 games in a row against this team in particular is pretty incredible.

James is that guy but he wins when he has a team mate who can get buckets and take the pressure off him. He's not a killer per se, scoring or clutchness wise, but his all around game is what makes him one of the elite players ever

Epic finish for the Cavs. Epic meltdown for the Dubs. Lebron played out his mind in the last 3 games, as did Kyrie, and Steph was a HUGE disappointment outside of game 4.

HAVING SAID ALL THAT... Green's suspension was the catalyst for this miracle comeback.

Green plays, and the Warriors win game 5 and close em out.

So, props to Lebron for whining his way to a Green suspension. It paid off.

And no, Kyrie Irving isn't as good as Curry, but Neil called it... he damn sure outplayed Steph.

Be interesting to see how good Irving is next year assuming he stays healthy. I hope he does. Right now, in terms of quality, I still have on spot below Dame Lillard. Meaning, the top 6 PG's in the league are Curry, Westbrook, Paul, Lowry, Lillard, and Kyrie.

Lebron is a great player but just as big a whiner.

Nevertheless, congrats on that 3rd ring. And he should stay in Cleveland.

Just a PERFECT storm for the Cavs to come back. Green gets suspended, which mentally weakens GS as it is, and in the same game they lose their defensive anchor in Bogut.

Two events that changed the ENTIRE dynamic of the series.

HAVING SAID all that, this series would have been a mute point to begin with had Stephen fuckin Curry played like his vintage self.

Looks like Kyrie Irving may in fact be Steph's kryptonite.

He torches Lillard and Westbrook, yet gets badly outplayed by Irving.

Just for excitement sake, now I wonder what OKC vs Cleveland would have looked like.

Don't get me wrong, I would have picked the Cavs in 6, I just feel like the series would have been more exciting.

Kyrie vs Westbrook would have been fun to watch.

Lebron would have ass raped KD though, as he always does.

I'm not a basketball fan by any means and was rooting for the Warriors but that was a great game. Of course I missed two quarters due to Game of Thrones (which was worth it, every minute of it) but I saw the final act and it was intense.

Curry's play had absolutely nothing to do with Irving.

He was simply very likely severely limited by injury.

Kerr knew it, which is why he took playmaking duties off Steph the entire series. He couldn't do anything off the dribble.

Yeah, I'm sure Curry haters will say otherwise, but he definitely wasn't 100%.

Looks like he gave all the vintage Curry he had in him to close out the Thunder in game 7.

If the game 7 of the OKC series Curry shows up consistently in the finals, and it would indeed have been over in 5.

But alas... he played like shit, Klay was inconsistent, and Green shot them in the foot by being a hot headed idiot.

He won't be so happy when he hears about the Double L Championship Tax and the Lebron parade surcharge tax that will be passed in the next budget.

I was rooting for the Warriors, but Steph AND Klay both had pretty shit games. It's amazing the Warriors even stayed in that last game down to the end. With Bogut out, Ezeli and Verejao both looked like completely lost retarded kids the minutes they were on the floor, Iggy was playing hurt and was shit offensively and Barnes pretty much disappeared for nearly the entire series outside of 1 or 2 games.

Draymond was the only thing keeping them in that final game. In hindsight Livingston probably should also have gotten more minutes from Kerr. Still, if Steph or Klay had nailed just a couple more of the 24 3's they took, the Warriors would have taken the title.

No excuses either, as that's just the way it goes. Cavs were destroyed by injuries in last years Finals and got no sympathy because of it.

Green was indeed their best player in the finals, but you gotta put it in perspective.... without Steph and Klay it woulda been Cleveland vs OKC.
