Would prime Taylor have a chance here?

  2. Taylor would last quite a while but would eventually be stopped.

For Starters, Taylor Would Need this to Be a 12 Rounder, as Opposed to 15...From There, He'd Have to Fight MORE Disciplined than We've EVER Seen Him Fight, to Beat Pryor...

Most LIKELY Scenario is Pryor Luring Taylor Into a War, Eventually Wearing Him Down and Stopping Him a Bit Earlier than Chavez Did, Due to Superior Punching Power...

If Taylor could punch (McGirt Sr. aside) I'd pick him to win

Given Pryor's footspeed and how quickly he closed distance, I don't see how Taylor doesn't get sucked into a war.

Taylor might have had faster hands than Pryor, but Pryor was OVERALL the more athletic of the two.

  8. Pryor is one guy I'd never want to fight. Perpetual motion, punches from weird angles, fighting him was like fighting a tornado.

And keeps coming no matter what he's hit with. That has to be extremely frustrating for an opponent, especially a puncher. 99 out of 100 times the right hand Pryor was walloped with would have resulted in a knockout or at least dropped them hard. I wonder if that took something out of Alexis mentally.

    Pryor had insane confidence

People talk about the handful of knockdowns he suffered but 99% of the greatest fighters ever would have been not only knocked down but likely knocked out if they fought like him... There's a reason nobody else ever did... Guy was a true natural, born to fight... In every round of every fight he did things you aren't supposed to do, dangerous things, foolish things but he got away with it because he was a freak... His career falling apart because of his addictions is one of the ultimate disappointments ... It would have been fucking fascinating seeing what else he might have done
