Don't know if anybody noticed. I just ran across it recently. A few days ago this poor kid got Davey Moore'd (the second Davey Moore). Quirky 27 year-old character actor who also had his share of starring roles in independent type movies. First time I noticed him was as the kid in the Showtime series "Huff". I guess he's best known as Chekov in the recent Star Trek movies. The only movie I've seen with him in is The Green Room. I heard about his death a few days ago, it's very tragic.
Alpha Dog, Terminator Salvation, Fright Night (one of the few halfway decent remakes)? I saw him recently in "Broken Horses" with Vincent D'Onofrio. Small film with kind of shitty reviews, but I thought was actually pretty damn good.
He was excellent as the title character in Odd Thomas a seldom seen, but pretty decent horror/thriller/actioner fun film with a nice love story at its center. Because it was all those things some people were turned off, but IMO this formula worked here. R.I.P.
