Klay and Draymond are the ONLY 2-Way Players the Dubs Have...

They WON'T Take Kindly to Durant Coming In, Getting MORE Shots, MORE Endorsements, etc., While Being a Glorified Catch and Shoot Guy...Durant Will HAVE to Expand his Game, to Make this Work....But as REED Stated Earlier, Had Durant Been Willing to Do That in OKC, They'd have Gone Fuuuuuurther than they Did in the Playoffs...

Putting Forth the Effort NOW, to Expand His Game, Would Be a Certified BITCH Move on Durant's Part...

Durant Lovers Like YOU Took Issue w/Westbrook Dominating the Ball and his Shot Selection...Now, Durant's In a Situation Where he Will Have the Ball EVEN LESS, w/2 ADDITIONAL Guys that WILL Get their Shots Up Also...

Again, Durant Will Have to ALTER his Game for This to Work...And If he WASN'T Willing to Do that in OKC, What Makes You Think he'll Be Willing to Do that in Oakland???....

"Statistically" if you mean straight stats, yes. Durants stats will take a hit. His "efficiency" should go up however.

Westbrook, without a running mate, his team is dead in the water. He will still have WTF! types of games, but his team will have a hard time getting better then a 7th or 8th seed in the West, and then treading water in the Playoffs.

He's a lot like Iverson in that sense..............though to be honest I prefer Westbrook over Iverson, and I know there's a ton of people who would take issue with that.

If Durant wasn't getting $26 million a year, the Dubs would have to match Barnes for $23 million a year

    LAME Excuse...

LeBron James has Been an All Around Contributor Every Place he's Played, Since AAU...If Durant "Magically" Morphs Into that Dude in Golden State, it Means he was HOLDING BACK in OKC, Which is SORRY as Fuck....

Exactly brother REED. KD is the one that has to change his game for it to work. Those guys already won a championship and had a 73 win season without KD. KD just has to do marginally more than Barnes to bring GS back to championship status but is he willing to do that? Doubt it. Unless Steph, Klay and/or Draymond get hurt, KD has to adjust his game.

durant will play better with better shooters around him. points per game arent the key statistic here. he will play more efficiently

 ridiculous. these guys want to win. durant helps them win. basically there is no reason to even watch the NBA next season. only way warriors dont win is due to injuries. durant will help them defensively and rebounding wise, also.

Why are you comparing Durant to Lebron?

He's not going to turn into Lebron, but he can play smarter on a team like Golden State. Be more selective and perhaps have the luxury to go inside more with Klay and Steph opening up the lanes for him. It's not like he's never played inside the perimeter before. He's led the league in Free Throws made 5 years in a row at one point.

lebron james is about 40 pounds heavier than durant despite being 3 inches shorter, and he only just learned how to use his body to play on the block a few seasons ago.

Awful move. Maybe I'm just an old man but these super teams make me lose interest in the game.

    EDIT

I don't agree with SAS alot but this is about right for me.

Correction, Guys Want to CONTRIBUTE and Win...If You HONESTLY Think Klay Thompson and Draymond Green will Be Fine w/a DIMINISHED Role, to Accommodate Kevin Durant, You're CRAZY...Klay Was Already in the Process of Establishing Himself as MORE than Just "The OTHER Splash Brother", and Draymond is LOVING his New Level of Fame and Adoration...

AND, These Motherfuckers have ALREADY WON without Durant...To Think They'll Be Fine w/Taking a Backseat to Him is NAIVE @ Best...

Because Durant Will Need to EXPAND his Game for this Shit to Work and There's NO More EXPANDED Game than that of LeBron James'...

As Is, Durant OCCASSIONALLY Drives from the Wing, but that's Literally the Extent of His "Post Game"...He's Basically a 6'11 PERIMETER Player, Which is Not Only a Fucking Joke but THE LAST Thing Golden State Needs...

He'll Be an Efficient, Glorified ROLE PLAYER...That's Steph Curry's Team, Bruh...If You Can't Recognize Durant is Taking a Step BACKWARDS, In Terms of His IMPACT on a Championship Producing Squad, There's Really NATHAN Else to Discuss...

Since his 2nd Year in Miami, Which was about Half a DECADE Ago and at an EARLIER Stage of his Career than Durant's @...

Durant HASN'T Shown the Slightest Inclination to Play from the Block Even a LITTLE...If he Suddenly Decides To Do that in Golden State, it's a BITCH Move...Should've BEEN Doing that Shit in OKC, Instead of Hoisting Up Ill Advised 3's from the Wing and Top of the Key...

    Nope...

Miami HADN'T Won a Title for 3-4 Years PRIOR to Bron Joining Them...Miami WASN'T Coming Off Back to Back Finals Appearances, 1 Championship in that Span, 73 Wins AND Bron DIDN'T Choke Away a 3-1 Playoff Lead to Miami...

If REED Isn't Mistaken, Miami LOST in the 1st Round of the Playoffs, the Season Prior to Bron...THEN they Advanced to 4 CONSECUTIVE Finals, Winning 2 Championships...

    There's Really NO Comparison Here...

C'mon. Lebron leaving Cleveland to join DWade and Bosh, all while in their primes, doesn't qualify as title chasing?

Maybe not the exact same scenario, but jeez.

That'll be the day when I watch Steven A. talk into a mirror for 20 minutes on ANY subject. He should follow his former partner over to FOX so they can continue to throw shit sandwiches at each other for the next 20 years......like Sisyphus in purgatory pushing that rock up a hill for the rest of eternity.

Didn't this asshole have a beef with Durant just a little while ago?

Uuuuh, Bosh was ALSO a Free Agent, who Joined Miami that Summer...Miami was a FRINGE Playoff Team when Bron Took his Talents to Souf' Beach...Huuuuuuuge Difference from What Durant is Doing....

Kevin Durant is Joining a Team ALREADY Constructed, that's ALREADY Won a Championship (About 400 Days Ago), 73 Regular Season Games AND Lost in Game 7 of the Finals, the Following Year...And MOST Importantly, Miami DID NOT Eliminate Bron from Playoff Contention, Mere WEEKS Before he Decided to JOIN Them...

Golden State DOES NOT Need Kevin Durant; The Miami Heat NEEDED LeBron James...That's the Difference...LITERALLY, Durant is Taking a "Can't BEAT 'em, JOIN 'em" Philosophy...

If REED Isn't Mistaken, Durant Had Beef w/Stephen A MORE than Stephen A Had Beef w/Durant...
