I think he is train by his daddy...that just not good enough...after a few more fight he should move to another trainer...hopefully the next hot sauce trainer of the moment that cuban that trains Ringo and Cotto...whatever his name is...
a bit wild... I don't like his defense... too jumpy... jumps straight back... needs to improve his punching technique just a little, straighten them out a bit... looks to be wasting energy... I'd be interested to see how a longer fight affects his stamina... on the plus side, he looks to have some real pop, his hands are quick, he's aggressive and vibrant like Neil said, he's raw there is definite potential here, though
Bullshit Lomanshitsko knows whats up...this isn't the old days...we are not in the amateur where he can hide that chin and doesn't take body shots... He will get the Abdullaev treatment as soon as he meets up with Verdejo in the pros... <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/Ndk7MOq6BFA" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
FINALLY that little bitch of your MamaChenko has decided to turn PRO.... TWITTER WATCH Top Rank inks Vasyl Lomachenko Two-time Olympic gold medalist Vasyl Lomachenko has inked a multi-fight deal with Top Rank. He is expected to make his pro debut on the October 12 Bradley-Marquez card and be fast-tracked toward a world title fight. <iframe id="twitter-widget-0" class="twitter-tweet twitter-tweet-rendered" scrolling="no" frameborder="0" allowtransparency="true" title="Embedded Tweet" width="500" height="186" style="display: block; border-style: solid; border-width: 1px; border-color: rgb(238, 238, 238) rgb(221, 221, 221) rgb(187, 187, 187); max-width: 99%; min-width: 220px; padding: 0px; border-top-left-radius: 5px; border-top-right-radius: 5px; border-bottom-right-radius: 5px; border-bottom-left-radius: 5px; margin: 10px 0px; box-shadow: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.14902) 0px 1px 3px;"></iframe> <small>July 26th, 2013</small> <small> Done running?? Arum would keep these two puppies apart from each other.....build them up in the next 2-3 years........hopefully neither one is defeated in that time.......
The plan was to have Lomachenko bitch his way into the easiest path possible to a championship in his 2nd fight: Fightnews: [h=1]Lomachenko to fight for world title in 2nd pro fight[/h]By Miguel Maravilla Talk about being on the fast track! Hall of Fame promoter Bob Arum just announced that if two-time Ukrainian Olympic gold medalist Vasyl “The Great” Lomachenko wins his pro debut, a ten-round featherweight bout against rated contender Jonathan Oquendo (23-3, 16 KOs) on the October 12 Bradley Marquez card in Las Vegas, his second fight will be for the world title against the winner of the Orlando Salido-Orlando Cruz bout. “It wasn’t my idea, it was his idea, so let’s see what happens,” said Arum. But poor fucking Arum forgot about something: [h=1]If Lomachenko wins a world title in second pro fight, it won’t be an official record[/h]In 1975, Saensak Muangsurin won the WBC light welterweight world title in only his third professional fight. Two-time Ukrainian Olympic gold medalist Vasyl “The Great” Lomachenko is aiming to become a world champion in just two fights after signing a professional contract with Top Rank. However, if Lomachenko is successful, he will not be officially recognized as breaking Muangsurin’s record. Fight Fax, Inc., boxing’s official recordkeeper, lists Lomachenko as already having six pro fights. This problem was created by the AIBA, which allows boxers to compete in paid WSB pro bouts, while retaining their amateur status. According to Fight Fax, Lomachenko’s WSB bouts are included in his pro record since he used 8 oz gloves, the fights had three judges, one referee, no head gear and most importantly, he got paid. Other fighters haunted by their paid “amateur” fights include U.S. Olympians JoJo Diaz and Terrell Gausha who both have WSB losses included on their official pro records. hahaha...I saw that Diaz had a loss and was wondering what was up with that and now I know. I like these fighters, but fuck Arum and fuck the AIBA and their delusional system and aspirations.
I'm officially off the Felix Verdejo bandwagon. He's turned out to be a real disappointment. And his immaturity outside the ring is also now apparent. I still wish him all the best and I still will root for him. But I no longer have expecations on him. Motor bikes are just stupid, especially if your a fucking PROFESSIONAL ATHLETE.
