Irish, I always figured you'd be a David Allan Coe fan. Not only are his lyrics funny but he has a lot of songs about "race relations" in the US of A.

He and Christine McVie had just divorced and she started fucking Feetwood Mac's lighting director. This song is about the lighting director. So he's got to pleased as peaches to have to play on thi song. (Stevie Knicks was really pissed off about the song "You Can Go Your Own Way" because it was about her to her. She wrote "dreams" in retaliation for that song.)

The thing with Simply Red is they are far more popular abroad than they are in their native UK. They are well known but their UK shows are nothing like what they play in Brazil, Argentina. Swing Out Sister are the same way to a lesser extent in Asia. Very popular in Asia (especially Japan) but could walk around in England unnoticed.

This ones dedicated to ma poor wee deid dug. We needed something to move and fill up the space. Seriously underrated album this, I think it's their second best. This, palace of brine, letter to Memphis, olympus mons, subbaculture is just boom boom boom boom like Guy Fawkes fireworks. I guess when you put out four total belters in as many years critics get bored of praising you

I heard that the lead singer of a Canadian band called The Tragically Hip is dying and this band have split up.
Apparantly, they have been ´´writing Canada´s soundtrack for over 30 years´´ according to lol, PM Justin Trudeau.

I thought it was these fucks:
