The 'Wonder Woman' trailer looks better than this.

 

Jason Momoa in full Aquaman costume...he looks like a Star Trek Klingon!

This movie.

 

DC have locked themselves into this course now.....they need to fucking do The Dark Knight Returns already.

 

That would mean follow the Marvel Studios formula that has brought them $ billions. WB DOES NOT WANT TO DO THAT!!! :nono:

 

Jason Mamoa looks AWESOME as Aquaman. This is going to be an incredible movie. Experts already agree on this.

When you look at aqua man in the comics you can understand the decision to scrap that model entirely.

 

I might be an asshole for saying this, but I'll take the worst DC and Warner Bros. has to offer, over any of the Marvel Avengers properties that have come out. I find each and every one of those movies empty, generic, forgettable and soul-less as fuck. I don't care how much money they make.

Whenever I see a movie still that looks like THIS, I get sick to my stomach.




Whenever somebody points out to me that Robert Downey Jr., makes $400 Billion dollars (or whatever ridiculous amount he makes) for each appearance, and for half the frames in each movie he's in, he looks like THIS....I start to quiver with fury.

I am the total opposite: the Ying to your Yang. I can live in a world with no more DC WB movie from now on. They already did their stuff and cannot surpass it anymore (Superman: The Movie & 'The Dark Knight). Marvel on the other hand is like a drug: every time I get a new shot I leave craving for another fix! They are Marvelous! Super FUN!! Entertaining!! Can't wait for the release of 'Doctor Strange' and next year for 'Black Panther'!!! I grew up collecting both DC & Marvel comicbooks, but while Marvel was fleshing out its heros with real life problems. DC had Superman & Batman go all camp due to the popularity of the ridiculous tv series.

 

I liked what batman vs superman was attempting to do but they didn't execute it properly. Marvel executes. I do prefer a darker tone with a deeper plot, but Wb/DC don't seem to know how to get the flow right or to put together a coherent plot.

Captain America civil war for example had the perfect flow and plot and they executed the action sequences brilliantly. It may have had a lot of silly humour at times but the pacing was perfect and the characters were enjoyable.

 

BvS is much better on a 2nd viewing but still lacking. Civil War was a 9/10. Pretty heavy set up for the final battle.

 

Spider-Man 2, Thor, X2, and the first Iron Man were really good. I haven't seen Civil War but I think over time most of the films will kind of blend into a blob of comic movies from this era.

 

Spiderman 2 & X2 were NOT Marvel Studios films, but SONY & FOX respectively. 'Captain America: Civil War' is just the damn best Marvel film ever, so far.

 

Panchy is 100% right and the success-rate of Marvel proves it: why would anyone want ´deep´, ´dark´ and ´serious´ from....a comic-book movie? :scratcher:

 

Comicbooks rebooted that look years ago and he looks more like Momoa, but blonde and has a harpoon hand after his archenemy Black Manta sliced his hand.

 

WB/DC has been trying to replicate the success of Nolan's Batman films. But Snyder is NOT Nolan. Turning Superman 'dark' is a mistake...and Henry Cavill hinted that we will get the notorious EMO Kal-El in JL.

 

There has been plenty of subpar movies from Marvel. Don't blame Fox either.
