I got a good stream available, but I still can't force myself to watch this. I need to be in the right mood for this one.

Oh man. Just finished watching Preacher. You ever hear someone say a show/movie is a slow burn? Preacher has a fuse the length of the Lincoln tunnel.

Has some decent action but it is few and far between. I spent most of the series thinking the main character was a genuine twat. I think you were supposed to but still.

I really didn't like it. Not for everyone I guess.

I can't do it mate. I watched the original growing up. Was called Prisoner. Classic Aussie tv. Originator of the greatest nickname ever: Vinegar Tits.

No it's actually completely reliable. If the people who grace it know so little, how come every time I have a question about a film, I can go on the message boards and find the answers every single time? And more often then not the comments are well written, extremely intelligent, and thought out. Sometimes I'll read something on there and think it's one of the guys from on here because it's often just and clever and witty. To be honest I see way more intelligent posts than stupid trolling ones or from kids or people who don't have a balanced point of view. If you don't frequent the site I'd appreciate you not stating opinion as fact because like I said, IMDB has been completely reliable.

Rotten Tomatoes is a hundred times more reliable than IMBD, otherwise it would not get as much credit as it does.

Maybe it is maybe it isn't. I don't use it so I don't know. All I know is if you don't use IMDB, don't talk what you don't know, because IMDB IS reliable.

In the past IMBD was reliable, but it became diluted with all the ignorant amateur reviewers. They should not count them together with the pro critics. And yes, I USED to be a loyal IMBD subscriber, until RT proved to be more trustworthy as they separate the scores of the public from the pro critics.

I still look at IMDB but for me, it lost credibility back a few years when everyone started rating The Dark Knight Rises as the greatest movie ever and it wasnt far off a 10/10 rating....and it had been out like 2 days.

And that is exactly the problem with IMBD: the first couple of weeks their ratings are unreliable as fanboys flood the site with out-of-this-world reviews and ratings for films that turn out to be mediocre at best. So if you are on the fence for a new release, you cannot go by the early ratings at IMBD. By the time the accurate ratings materialize more films that might interest you have been released.

No it's not. IMDB Pro is reliable. Rottentomatoes is not. anyone can vote on it. And since they have that option at Rottentomatos along with actual pros, it's clearly much better.

IMDB is great for info about movies like location, soundtrack, discussion, etc. Not for reviews.

That is why the name is called the International Movie Data Base.

Weird, I didn't find it a slow burn. "The Killing", "Top Of The Lake", "The Missing"..........those are slow burns to me.

"Preacher" has multiple action or significant plot twists in nearly every episode, and at the same time, doesn't really take itself seriously at all.

    Oh well.

Its complete cunts like this you need to watch out for when it comes to stuff like Suicide Squad:

´I look up to @suicidesquadmovie maker #DavidAyer. His #endofwatch, shot with a mixture of media including dashboard & body cams, was the work of a true filmmaker. And I don't know how he got me to love a tank movie, but #fury is another amazing Ayer effort. When I heard he was shepherding a cinematic #suicidesquad, my already-high interests in a @dccomics movie shot over the top: what would a gritty guy like Dave do with the likes of #Deadshot & #HarleyQuinn? Well I think he made magic and did #dccomics proud. The #Squad movie doesn't look like any other comic book flick I've ever seen. The periodic use of both #Batman and the #joker as background characters instead of the usual leads was thrilling and felt like our first real glimpse at an interconnected #dceu. The cast is top notch but Harley, as expected, steals the show. The #jokerandharley beats are simply wonderful for a longtime fan to watch and make you immediately wanna see the all-Harley movie they already announced. Throwaway moments made me so happy (like Katana and her Soultaker sword) but this flick as a whole had me smiling the whole time. Thanks to her name, my kid @harleyquinnsmith_ was already on board for this movie - and she loved it (like LOVED it). I'll be heading back to see it again tonight so expect a brand new #FatManOnBatman review soon.

I think I used to like Kevin Smith, years ago. Now he's just become insufferable.

Fun series. Maybe not the highest quality show of the last 10 years or so, but certainly the most enjoyable for me.

Goggins and Olyphant have great chemistry throughout, as rivals, and essentially two sides of the same coin.

I don't know. I still like "Clerks", "Chasing Amy" and "Dogma". I loved his monologue on his experiences with the Nic Cage Superman movie (long before the doc came out).

He used to be a somewhat compelling figure for me, with a bit of an "I don't give a fuck" vibe about himself. Now he's just morphed into the jolly, fat guy cheerleader who's turned into a fucking crybaby when it comes to critics of any sort.

He's fucking great. I wasn't a big fan of his character on "The Shield", but he's been a revelation ever since.

I thought Olyphant was a total homo before Justified. It's tough to shine beside Goggins here but the Marshall is just a great character, too. In fact the show has SOOO many great characters, especially the bad guys. It's one of my favorite shows ever.

Yup, has some pretty awesome 1 season villains and background characters. The "henchmen" (if you can even call them that) who come and go on Goggins crew are some of the best parts of the show. The Wynn Duffy character was pretty great to.
