Lewis was 21-0 when he went in against Ruddock and got him out there in 2 rounds, but then Ruddock might have lost a bit of resiliency by then? Joshua at 18-0 might take a little longer - his lack of decent competition being the reason. Joshua TKO6 Ruddock
Cannot see any real comparison between Lewis and AJ; even the raw version of Lewis who fought Ruddock. Young Lewis was wild and very attack-minded but had a lovely varied arsenal of shots and hit like an absolute motherfucker. AJ has no punch variation at all and his power is very overrated IMO - he tends to win by accumulation of shots and KD's, rather than laying people cleanly out. There is no-one on AJ's record to even come close to Ruddock that you can even compare it to. Right now I have no idea if he would beat Ruddock or not. MTF
AgFEEB´d. I was going to say Joshua has no legit natural one-shot power....he builds up with combinations.
Yeah, maybe I'll change my mind of Joshua in a couple of years, but as of now, I only see him as a big mildly talented guy with basic skills fighting in an awful division (in which he still hasn't done much). IF Ruddock could take the best Tyson had to offer, he could take Joshua's too, difference is, he'd be able to land a lot more often on Joshua than he could on Tyson. Ruddock knocks him out in a good fight.
