No one in his right mind will keep a creepy looking doll like that at home, unless it is for Halloween decoration.

Doll based horror movies are a particular pet peeve of mine. I really hate all of them. ::

 

Imagine if they DIDN'T sensationalize this story. It'd just be a motherfuckin' doll in a motherfuckin' box for 90 minutes of hold on to your seat nothin'.

It is easier to create your own scary looking doll for your low budget horror film than to pay big royalties for the rights of the Raggedy Ann doll to the toy company.
