Dimitrenko was all over the shop. Didn't want to be in there after tasting Parker's power. Controversial knockout, though. What did you lot think? I really want to see Joshua-Parker. It's an exciting matchup.
Parker Beat the Shit Out of Dimitrenko...Parker was Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay Tooooooooo QUICK and FLUID for the Stiff, Robotic Dimitrenko...Parker Landed and HURT Dimitrenko @ Will, Virtually... Granted, Dimitrenko was CLEARLY Down when Parker Blasted Him to the Body...Wouldn't Have Mattered Though, as Dimitrenko was WELL On his Way Towards Getting KNOCKEDthefuckOUT... Joshua-Parker Will Be VERY Interesting, Because Parker ISN'T Gunshy or the Least Bit Afraid of TRADING Punches w/Joshua...Parker's Pretty ACCURATE Too...Call REED Crazy, but He Thinks Parker's a BIGGER Test for Joshua than Wlad or Fury Would Be, STYLISTICALLY... REED:hammert:
Parker is good, on the evidence, so far, but it's hard to say how good on the basis of beating probably the worst "name" fighter of a supposedly piss-poor yesteryear. Dummytrenko was what some people wanted to believe the Klitschkos were, a protected, stiff, chinless Universum bum with no skills at all. The guy basically made a name out of looking like Ivan Drago. His biggest win was over Luan Krasniqi :: He dropped a decision to Eddie Chambers 7 years ago. Parker will have to fight Joshua because he can't keep hanging around fighting these guys.
Yeah, Dimi was never any good to begin with and he has had several health problems in the recent years, he has struggled with novices in his 'comeback' That being said, Parker looks good against this type of opposition
Parker and Joshua are in SIMILAR Boats, in REED's Opinion... They've Treaded Water QUITE Well, Against (Supposed) STIFFER Competition, Increasingly...But Now It's Time for BOTH to Jump Into the Deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep End of the Pool, and What Better Introduction to Those Depths, than Facing Each Other???...No Appreciable Edge in "Experience" btwn Them... Surely, Even the IBF Can't Fuck This Fight Up, to the Point it DOESN'T Happen in 2017(???)... agREED on Dimitrenko...He SUCKS...But Parker HANDLED Dimitrenko As Such, and Deserves CREDIT... REED:mj:
AGREED.........and the good thing about this is that no matter who wins, they are both young enough, fresh enough and in a shallow-enough division to meet later and do it all again for better money 2nd time out.
In Parkers defence, as you alluded to, there really isn't much more out there, than "this type of opposition". It;s either Joshua, Klitschko, or "this kind of opposition" Like the old adage says.......fight bums, but beat them like they are bums.
Dummytrenko looks like Kris kristofferson slipped his shaft into some slavic mussel on his highwayman tour, all four of them dipping into the throffing rotten spool at once. I agree that this fight is still part of the padding process and not a step up, it might as well have been Ross Puritty, but I do not agree he's any good,..the Jason Bergman fight left one hell of a chinese burn. :nono:
Kauki, do you think Parker has just the right blend of Maori muscleman and White power to be a real force :dunno:
This. And Parker didn,t looked too hot against the only credible fighter he faced in Takam. Guy is for me a poor man Tommy Morrisson. Dangerous fighter but will never be the top dog in the division
I doubt Jimmy Stormfront is partially white, but if he performs the way he did against Bergman, the color in question, is as good an omen as any. :crafty:
If that rib is broken, Parker broke it with his thumb. Is Parker any good? How legit is his power? Is he knocking anyone tfo? Doesn't seem like he has that kind of power here. Doesn't qualify for 2012 Olympics, touted as a challenge for Olympic gold medalist after a few years?
