Jesus H. Christ. I can't wait til this loud mouth bum gets exposed. For the record, Louis would have executed that stiff. IDGAF how many inches of height Louis would giving up, the gap in talent is too astronomical for it to matter, and Wilder's an easy target. Louis would have smoked Wilder early. Louis is laughing in his grave right now.
Welcome to the current heavyweight division. Where two absolutely talentless hacks in Wilder and Fury have the biggest mouths. Ali and Tyson could afford to be cocky trash talkers, they were fucking good. Who in the HELL convinced Beyonce Wilder that he's a quality fighter???
While I disagree on Fury (he's big, ankward and moves well, he would have done well in any era imo), 100% agreed on Wilder. He's a stiff plain and simple. He does have some talent and maybe if he had started the game earlier, he could have been a good boxer, but as of now, he's a mediocre who struggles with trash like Spilzka and Molina. Still, he usually makes for exciting fights and ko's the fools he's up against so that has to count for something.
Foreman just said that he wouldn't want to fight Wilder if he was in his prime. Damn, George is getting EXTRA humble in his old age. Young Foreman vs Wilder has only one thing written on it... a funeral in downtown Alabama.
Here we go with the bashing of figurines again. I thought there was a whole separate forum for this kind of stuff?...
Foreman 's affability is largely manufactured. He said he avoided Jerry Quarry. Maybe Jerry had halitosis. I don't know.
Halitosis,.. a milk-curdling flue, expired from a dumpy Irish-dragon. Nobody donned 80's cossies as stern as your Jerry. :crafty:
I hate the fake humbleness going around today....athlethes, artist, etc of the past saying today's version are just as good...for the most part they are NOT...
George ALWAYS says shit like that...(Scared of Quarry/ Norton/ Frazier/ Lewis, DLH's shoulders), I guess saying it about Wilder is taking it to a whole new level though...
