REED is ACTIVELY Rooting Against Them as Well...Joining the Team You CHOKED AWAY a 3-1 Lead To is THE Biggest Bitch Move in NBA History...

Beyond That, Steph's Passive-Aggressive ARROGANCE Irks REED a Bit, His Wife's Propensity to Talk Shit DEFINITELY Irks REED (It's Better to Be SEEN than Heard, Bitch) and Draymond's a Borderline DIRTY Player...

Pretty Easy to DISLIKE Golden State These Days...

It's funny, for all the talk about Klay's defense, Durant seemed to be much more disruptive on the defensive end before the game got completely out of hand and he threw in the towel to.

I gotta say, the way San Antonio is constructed right now, they are a very bad matchup for the Warriors.

Zaza was not a factor, Verejeo sucks, and West is old. Their inside game is atrocious. Durant might end up leading this team in Rebounds AND Blocks. Draymond is scrappy, but he can't protect the rim. Their only hope is maybe Javale McGee has some sort of a resurgence in his career.

I'll still root for them. I hate the "Old-Timers" (lol), like Shaq and Barkley shitting on Durant and Golden State's "Super Team", while Barkley ignores his own attempted ring grab with Houston and Shaq kisses Lebrons ass for doing the same in Miami.

Also the term "SuperTeam" really fucking annoys me in regards to Golden State, where all the major stars were either home grown or considered reclamation projects when they picked them up.......and they went out and got ONE fucking guy, and all of a sudden they're a "SUPERTEAM", trying to buy a title.

    Seems bullshit to me.

That said, I'm not convinced both the Spurs and the Cavs won't shit on them hard this year.

Also, one of the TNT announcers last night kept on blurting the Warriors will only lose 5 games this year, which is bullshit. I see about 65 wins at the most. Kerr learned his lesson and is going to play it more like Popovich this year, resting guys and coasting on a regular basis.

All JaVale McGee's Good For is 12-15 Minutes, a Couple Alley Ooop Dunks and "Shaqtin' a Fool" Footage...

EVERY Team w/Decent Post Play will Look to PUNISH Golden State in the Paint...Like REED Said, those 3's BETTER Be Falling, or Losses Will Add Up...NOfuckingWAY They Can Win a CHAMPIONSHIP w/Out Addressing their Lack of Paint Presence...

Neither Shaq Nor Barkley were In Their PRIMES Though...They Weren't Considered Top 5 Players in the League, When they Tried to Piggyback for Rings...

The Bulk of REED's Golden State Angst is Geared Towards Durant...If You're ANY Kind of Competitor, You DON'T Join a Team that JUST Came Back from a 3-1 Deficit and Eliminated You from the Playoffs...You Just DON'T...If Durant had Joined the Spurs, the Wizards or Whomever Else, the Backlash WOULDN'T Be as Bad...

Granted, REED Still Very Much ENJOYS Watching the Warriors Play, but his Rooting Days are Over...

Kenny Smith was the 1 Predicting 77-5 for this Year's Warriors and The TNT Crew Reminded Him of It During the Post-Game...

I thought that was Kenny Smith, but I wasn't sure because he was the only one defending Durant. I like him better then all the other guys there as an announcer, but he's fucking crazy if he thinks they come anywhere close to that mark.

I don't blame Durant. As the type of player he is, how could you NOT want the chance to play in that type of system. He will flourish......but I'm not sure it makes the Warriors a better "Team".

Would have been nice if he stayed in OKC, but as has become obvious, him and Westbrook were not exactly best buds, and he probably wanted to see what it was like to play with a different set of team-mates that weren't such hard-asses with each other. He went from one extreme to another as far as systems go, regardless of which team ended his season the previous year.

Kenny Smith's VERY Good @ his Job...Shaq's a WASTE in REED's Opinion, and Spends Waaaaaaaaaaaaaay Toooooooo Much Time Trying to DULL Barkley's Shine...Charles is the CLEAR "Star" of the Show and Shaq Needs to Fall in Line OR Find Something Else to Do...

American Sports Culture is OBSESSED w/"Rings"...Careers are DEVALUED Sans Rings, and Otherwise GREAT Players are Thought of LESS Because They "Didn't Win"...Golden State is the EASIEST Path Durant Could have Taken Towards an Opportunity for Rings, so REED "Gets" Why Dude Went There...

But in the Process, he's Gone from "The Man" to "a Guy", Which is a Steeeeeep Fall from Grace, When You were Considered an ELITE Player and In the Discussion for "Best Player on the Planet", just a Season Ago...

Ultimately, it's Durant's Life, but @ This Point He'll Be Remembered LESS Favorably for Winning in Golden State, than he Would Have Been for Remaining In and NOT Winning in OKC...

Fuck that floppy ass cunt and his 16 free throws. Fitting that he turned the ball over in the end running straight into his defender instead of going around him for an easy bucket.

Golden State didn't lose in the playoffs because of fatigue from winning 73 games like the myth/excuse keeps being perpetuated. If you'll remember those guys were constantly having blowout wins and their starters were done by half time. They lost because for the second season in a row their MVP went from great player in the regular season to good player in the playoffs.

Klay also disappeared for games at a time, and the Finals MVP from the previous year, Iggy, was a shadow of his former self.

Golden State had lots of depth, therefore they were able to take minutes off during games, but it's fairly obvious they wanted that record pretty badly. They could have sat more guys completely leading in to the Playoffs, just like Pop does every year, but they didn't.

Curry's not built like a workhorse, like Lebron. He was mentally and physically drained by the end of the Playoffs and the better teams were playing him closer to the hip and making him work harder. He deserved his regular season MVP last year, but this is always going to be his M.O.. In the end, he's an over-achiever with some incredible skill-sets and some obvious limitations, and that's what he'll always be.

I'm not saying it will help them win a Championship, just that there is no way they will even come close to 73 Wins this year. I know it's only one game into the season, but unless the Spurs or Cavs suffer some serious injuries, and one or two of Golden States reserves make a huge leap in play, I wouldn't even call them the favorite this year.

I mean, it's possible this is just growing pains with a new lineup rotation and things will smooth out for them as the season goes on, but we shall see.

like me and Reed have said before. Durant was not a good pick. They need someone with muscle down in the paint. Hell, even a bitch as Dwight Howard would have been better for the Warriors. Instead of Durant, The warriors should have went after Steven Adams. That is the pick that will get them some back to back rings and possibly a dynasty.

agREED on the Fatigue of Winning 73 Games NOT Being a Factor...2-3 Warrior Starters Would Spend the ENTIRE 4th Quarter on the Bench, for Quite a Few Games...

However, REED Thinks the PRESSURE of Having Won 73, Then HAVING TO WIN a Championship to Validate the Record, May have Gotten to Golden State, Particularly in Game 7...Playing for the Championship is ENOUGH Pressure As Is, But Doing That AND Trying to Validate Your Record Breaking Season (Simultaneously) Got the BETTER of Golden State...1nce They Found Themselves in a Game 7 DOGFIGHT, w/Bron and Kyrie BALLIN', The Warriors WILTED...

Having Been Thru That Now, REED is Sure Steve Kerr Would MUCH Rather Have a Nice 62-65 Win Season, Going Into the Playoffs...He Won't Be "Resting" His Guys for the Sake of REST, Necessarily, as Much has He's LESSENING Playoff Pressure by Impacting their Regular Season Win Total...

The Funny Thing Is, You and REED Shared That Opinion Not Knowing Bogut WOULDN'T Be Part of the Mix This Season...

To Think They Can SERIOUSLY Contend for a Title w/NO Post Presence Whatsoever is IDIOCY on the Part of Steve Kerr and/or the Warriors GM...

Lots of turnovers but he pulled it out in the end. Obviously OKC can only go so far with only one ball dominant player, and he didn't have a great game, but he'll pile up statistics without Durant around and MVP voters will be primed to hand him the award this year.

He played good and was fifty percent from the field but I don't think anyone played great tonight, from either team. The only reason the Thunder even won is because the Clippers played worse than them, in what had to be a historically bad game with lots of their players looking like they were on a three night back to back.

Small sample breakdown of some of my Oakies

Right now Adams seems to be playing bad. He's missing passes he'd normally catch and seems to have lost some confidence and fire. He doesn't look like the same guy from last year.

Kanter played great last season until the playoffs where he seemed to be only about 75% as good. That 75 version looks like the one who has started this season.

Roberson - This guy still shouldn't be starting. He seems to have made some slight improvements but his shot hasn't improved one iota.

Olidepo - He should be attacking the basket a lot more because he just isn't a consistent shooter. So far I don't like what I'm seeing from him and if you asked me today I'd say I'd rather have Ibaka.

Sabonis - Another guy who isn't impressing me. He did hit a couple threes tonight , but it looks like he can't get his own shot, even in the post. Hopefully he just needs a few months to a year or more to put it all together.

Grant - We got him in The Ilyasova trade and all I can say is I'm glad we got rid of Ilyasova. Grant will have some nice blocks and dunks but he's another guy who can't shoot.

Singler - Its like having another Roberson out there because he pretty much contributes nothing. Roberson is more athletic, plays great defense and every know and then he'll cut to the basket for a nice layup or get a lob for a dunk. Singler is a better passer, is more skilled and every know and then he'll cut to the basket for a nice layup or he'll occasionally hit an open jumper. The problem is both guys contributions are to far and few and neither should be starting.

I think Morrow should be given more chances to play instead of Singler and the team defense looks a bit better this season.

I love his interviews. He don't fuck around or attention whore for the press. Just says what he has to say to get out of there, and fucks off, like Pop or Belichick or Marshawn. Press guys hate him for it, but I love it.

I like Durant, but Durant is G-O-N-E. Press playing up like Westbrook should be pining for his ass to come back, and Russ is just like "Yeah man, fuck that guy". I fuckin' love it. You don't have to be like Lebron and try to be everybodys best bud all the time. Russ don't need nobody to love him, he's ok with himself already.

I dunno if there's ever been an NBA superstar that's made bigger strides than Russ.

What I mean by that is, Lebron was special from the jump. Kobe was special before he was legally an adult. KD was always special. Wade was always special.

Westbrook? He looked like he was the 2nd coming of Steve Francis for awhile, and that's not a compliment.

But DAMN he's turned into something awesome.

I think he's solidly a better player than KD at this point. Lebron after year's finals still has to be considered the best, and after Curry's last season he STILL has to be considered the league's 2nd best. Russ is now 3rd.

4 would be KD, and 5 would be Kawhi.
