For Some STRANGE Reason, REED's Always "Understood" You, Brother Kauki...The STYLES of Writing are Vastly Different, Yet You "Speak" REED's Language, @ the Same Time...& That Should Probably CONCERN REED More than it Does...

Anyways, GROUND Fighting will ALWAYS Be Relevant...Royce Gracie's GROUND Fighting is @ the Very FOUNDATION of MMA and UFC, as a Viable Sporting Entity...Brock Lesnar NEVER Loses to Frank Mir, if Not for GROUND Fighting...Jon Jones Nearly LOST a Fight Via GROUND Fighting...Showtime Pettis is Probably STILL the Lightweight Champion of the World, if he Possessed Higher Level GROUND Fighting...More than Likely, Conor McGregor BEATS Nate Diaz the 1st Time, if Not for GROUND Fighting...

Yeah well, that ain't even discussion worthy tbh, but it kind of went against my feelings of what fighters should come UP in the TUF series generally...

    Wouldn't Surprise REED @ All if UFC Did Likewise w/Other HO-HUM Divisions...Why WOULDN'T They???...

When You Think About it, a LARGE % of UFC Fighters Appeared on T.U.F, Initially...REED Would Guess Anywhere from 35-40%...

Was locked in an extrajudicial Nauru gulag for a while brother, for re-education. My punishment was to watch the opening ceremony of every american NFL game since the cold war. Now I'm back to being a patriotic aussie battler again. :twitch:

Form HELD in the Latest Episode, as # 6 Matt Schnell Tapped # 11 Matt Rizzo...

Rizzo BRAGGED All Episode about Being "a Black Belt in BJJ", yet Got Caught in a Guillotine AND 2 Triangle's in LESS than 2 Rounds...REED Wasn't Terribly Impressed with Schnell Either, but In His Defense, He WASN'T the Least Bit Pleased w/His Winning Performance (Neither Was his A.T.T. Teammate, Jaime Alvarez)...Maybe He'll Look BETTER in the 2nd Round of Bouts...

Final Fight of the 1st Round will be #3 Tim Elliott vs # 14 Charlie Alaniz...Elliott is a LOT Bigger than Alaniz and Was Benavidez's 1st Pick...Gotta FAVOR Him Here...Elliott Also Thinks Pretty HIGHLY of Himself and Was Openly Talking TRASH about Mighty Mouse as a Fighter, as he Watched Videos of Johnson SHITKICKing Benavidez and Cejudo...

Still a GREAT Season, but Tonight's Fight was the WORST Thus Far, in Comparison to the Other 5...Decent Scrap on its OWN Merits Though...

Uh uh uh uh uh uh! Reed please :nono: love the legs, love the legs, for once it was nourishing to see a deft assassin scissor-snip, Schnell would bray those stag mandibles about, and then snap ratcheted that pepper-rodent, aptly fiddling his cricket drumsticks across it's throat and rendering his thrall into a whorl of squealing flames.

Nah that first long black dude from Alaska was on a different level, and by that I mean he seemed like a third division guy compared to these other dudes. I knew it before his fight too, though I don't remember why I knew.

It seems I've lost interest in the show as quickly as I fell for it. On watching the third episode I skipped all the hubbub and just went straight to the match and I haven't watched any episodes since.

Although it's both unpatriotic and disobedient, I came very close to the same conclusion as you Lib four Lib,...the use of the fighters to advertise video games and motorcycles or an assortment of other shit is grating on me,.. I feel sick when I see that.

    - and after 2 months worth of fights and relentless hype, mighty mouse is gunna cap this off with a knockout, 15 seconds into the first round.

    Bantamweights, no choice but to.

REED's Still Digging the Current Season of T.U.F...

Tim Elliott's Starting to Look Like the FAVORITE to Win it All...Bulldog Choked Charlie Alaniz to Close Out the 1st Round, Then Front Naked Choked Matt Schnell...Elliott Took a HARD Kick to the Nuts, to Start the Schnell Fight, Rested for Maybe 15-20 Seconds Then BROUGHT the Fight to Schnell...Nearly Got Caught in a Triangle AND an Arm Bar, but POWERED his Way Out of Both Submission Attempts, Before Finishing it in the 1st Round...

Starting the 2nd Round, Kai-Kara France Lost to # 1 Seed, Pantoja, Exhibiting Very Little of the High Level Striking he Demonstrated in his Initial Fight...Pantoja was a Much SMALLER Target than France's 1st Round Opponent, Too...

Adam Antolin Was 1nce Again a Bundle of NERVES Leading Up to his Bout, This time Against Hiro Ogikubo...Antolin Caught Hiro's Leg on a Kick, Swept the Other Leg from Under Him, Went for Dominant Position and Found Himself on Bottom the BULK of the 1st Round, Enduring Side Choke Attempts, Elbows and Punches...

In the 2nd, Hiro Waited for Antolin to Kick, Caught his Leg, Took Him Down...Just When it Looked Like Ogikubo Would BLANKET it him for the Rest of the Round, Antolin Got to his Feet and Landed some MEATY Kicks to the Body...To No Avail, Eventually, as Hiro 1nce Again Got him to the Ground, Took his Back a Few Times and Maintained DOMINANT Posture...

    # 15 Seed, Eric Shelton, Continued his Improbable Run, Upsetting # 7 Ronaldo Candido...He was a LOT More In Control of his Nerves for his 2nd Bout, than he Was Initially...For as GREAT as Ronaldo is on the Ground, he's a Fish OUT of Water Standing Up...Stiff, Slooooooow Ass Punches...Ultimately, Shelton was Toooooooooo STRONG and ATHLETIC and Won a Decision...

Hiro vs Pantoja and Tim Elliott vs Eric Shelton, in the Semi-Finals...

    # 5 Hiro Ogikubo vs # 1 Alexandre Pantoja...

Vintage Hiro in Round 1...Doing Just Well Enough in Stand Up to LAND a Takedown and/or Get his Opponents Back...Got a Hold of Pantoja and BLANKETED Him Against the Fence and On the Ground...Dropped Some Vicious Elbows and Ground N' Pound on Pantoja Too, from Top Position...

Pantoja Came Out VERY Aggressive in the 2nd, but Ogikubo Obliged, Trading Strikes w/him for Large Stretches...Pantoja Actually Took Hiro Down Too, but Literally, within SECONDS, Hiro Transitioned Into Dominant Position...Hiro Did MORE Lay N' Pray than we've Seen, but he was Likely TIRED from the Amount of Fights in Such a Short Time...

Hiro Won a 2 Round Decision...w/Pantoja's Loss, Team Cejudo is OFFICALLY Eliminated from Competition...

    # 3 Tim Elliott vs. # 15 Eric Shelton...

The Rankings FINALLY Caught Up w/Shelton...@ the Start, Eric EASILY Landed Kicks and Punches, but Elliott is Soooooooooooo TOUGH and STRONG, he Literally Shook Them Off Until he Got Close Enough to Take Shelton to the Mat...Elliott 1nce Again Found Himself in a Triangle Attempt and POWERED his Way Out of It...

Elliott RELENTLESSLY Attacked from the Top, Punches and 'Bows to Every Part of Shelton's Body and a Couple Deeeeeeeeeeeeeeep Guillotines...Admirably, Shelton TOOK it, Reversed Position and Dished Out his Own Punishment Too...

Round 2 was Action Packed, w/Both Men Trading Strikes and ACTIVELY Maneuvering For and Reversing Top Position, Trading Submission Attempts, Taking Turns Ground and Pounding the Other, etc...VERY Close Round, HIGH Level Shit, but @ the End of the Day, Elliott ENDED Both Rounds w/a Deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep Guillotine on Shelton...

A 3rd Round Would've Been QUITE Enjoyable, but Elliott Did JUST Enough in REED's Opinion, to Earn the Nod Over 2...

    # 3 Tim Elliott vs. # 5 Hiromasa Ogikubo in the Finale...

    How Has it Backfired, Kauki???...

If NATHAN Else, the Division has ADDED Intriguing Matchups and a Modicum of NAME Recognition to the Division...

Imagine Pantoja vs. Shelton???....Pantoja vs Candido???...Alvarez vs. Shelton???...Kara-France vs. Sherbatov???...

Lot of Good Fights to Be Made From This Season of T.U.F....
