Watching them play I see no evidence that curry is more of the go to man than Durant. They score the same amount, and Durant is the better isolation player

Some Shit Goes WITHOUT Saying, Neil...

Who Joined Whose Team???...Who Beat Who in Last Year's Playoffs???...Who ALREADY Possesses a Ring, and Who Doesn't???...

Steph's Coming Off 1 of the Better Individual AND Team Seasons EVER, Won his 2nd Consecutive MVP, and Came Within 1 Game of Being a REPEAT NBA Champion...Steph PUT Golden State on the Map, Whereas Durant's on the Bandwagon AFTER the Fact...

    It's CLEARLY Steph's Team, Dude...

    You're On Durant's Nuts, Bro...

No Way in Hell is he a BETTER Iso Player than Steph...Steph has Superior Handles AND Shoots Better from the Perimeter, Period...

They Score the Same Amount Because the Season is 5 Minutes Old, Dude...

Going beyond that.... Curry is FAR more dependable in the clutch than Durant.

I think it's safe to say LaVine is the best dunker since prime Carter.

He damn sure isn't on Carter's level as an overall player, but he's an awesome dunker.

Whoever the "Alpha Dog" is, Durant is definitely benefiting from playing on a team that spaces the floor as well as Golden State does. At this point he's got career highs in nearly every type of shooting efficiency possible outside of free throws (by a lot), at career highs in blocks and steals, near career highs in rebounds and assists (in less minutes), and a career low in turnovers (by a lot).

Remarkably, after a slow start Klay Thompson is right back to almost exactly where he's supposed to be statistically, and Steph Curry is back on track. He'll never have another season like he had last year, and no he's not the BEST all-around player in the NBA, but he's about where he was 2 seasons ago, which is nothing to be ashamed of.

Still, some teams will match up well against Golden State as they do not have the defensive capabilities they have had in the past. Their best defense is having 3 of the most efficient shooters in the NBA on their team, and they can overwhelm teams with a sheer volume of shots.

GS will still be an underdog to the Cavs.

Kyrie has Steph's number. And Lebron owns KD's soul.

Durant is averaging 27.2 points on an effective FG % of 63.8

Highest ever for a 25+ppg scorer in league history according to mark stein

I hope, but I still favor Cleveland.

Kyrie AND Love are both playing at a very high level right now, which is allowing Bron to coast even moreso than last year.

If Kyrie and Love can maintain it all year, Lebron will be nice and rested and ready to kick into 2nd gear come post-season.

James is gonna get too old to turn it up one of these years, but he still probably has another epic playoff run in him.

I'd be shocked if Love doesn't turn into a useless pile of goo by playoff time, as per usual.

Probably, but Irving won't. And we know Lebron won't. Those two alone will get them out of the East.

Curry and KD better play like they have chips on their shoulders.

BTW - is there a MORE predictable finals in history than this one? Barring serious injuries, GS vs Cleveland is a guarantee for the finals.

The later. Check out a few pages ago.

REED argued that Webber was in the same league as Durant.

I think KD's on a different planet than Webber's playoff useless ass.

But That's Just It...NBA Legacies are About Who the ALPHA was on CHAMPIONSHIP Teams...

Durant ISN'T the Alpha NOR is He Any Closer to a Championship, in REED's Opinion...He's a STAT Guy...Taller, More Efficient, but Not Near as Athletic as T-Mac...Taller, More Well Rounded, Athletic and Efficient than 'Melo...In Terms of IMPACT, That's about Where Durant Is...

Durant's Legacy Will Be a TAD Better Than Theirs, but he'll NEVER Be Regarded as Among the TRUE Greats, the Types that are Talked about 20-30 Years AFTER Their Playing Days are Over...

Steph has a MUCH Better Chance of Reaching That Status than Durant Does...

    Nope...

You UNDERRATED Webber Statistically, Saying His "Best Season Couldn't Sniff Durant's Worst", or However You Worded It....Clearly, You Came Out on the ASS End of that Debate...

Not w/Out Quality POST Players, They Won't...& Sorry, JaVale "Shaqtin' a Fool" McGee Ain't Cutting It...

Golden State will Be HELPLESS and HAPLESS Against the Front Line of Bron, Love and Tristan Thompson, in a 7 Game Series...Durant Will HAVE to Guard 1 of them, Which WILL Diminish His Offensive Effectivenesss...

Hell, the Question Is, Will Golden State Even MAKE IT to the Finals???...San Antonio's ALREADY Spanked that Ass by 30 and if By Chance the Dubs Meet the Clippers in a Series, the Front Line of Blake and DeAndre Jordan Will Give Them ALL They Can Handle, and Some...

You Can QUOTE REED Right Here, Right Now...Not Only Will Golden State NOT Win the 2017 NBA Championship, They Won't Even Make it to the 2017 NBA Finals...

As long as Steph and KD are both healthy, there's very little chance of Golden State NOT making the finals.

Who's gonna upset them? The Spurs? Doubtful. Leonard would have to play on prime Jordan level for the Spurs to beat GS in the playoffs. Is the perennial post-season failure known as Chris Paul gonna beat them? Even more doubtful.

The Cavs are the only team capable of taking GS in the playoffs.

Dude, the Spurs JUST Beat them By 29 Fucking Points, to Open the Season...

Kawhi Had 35pts, and Golden State Could Do NATHAN w/Aldridge Down Low, Who Finished w/26 and 14...Pau Gasol is an UPGRADE from the Faded, Decrepit Shell of Tim Duncan, Who Took Up Court Space for the Spurs, the Last Year or So...

The Warriors CANNOT Contain a Team w/Good Bigs...And the MORE Good Bigs a Team Has, the MORE Trouble Golden State Will Have w/Them...

Just Watch, You'll See...Barring Injury to Aldridge, Gasol, Griffin or Jordan, REED Can Definitely See the Spurs and/or Clippers PREVENTING the Warriors from Advancing to the 2017 NBA Finals...

that was the first game of the year and is not indicative of how the warriors have been playing since. the warriors ball movement wasnt the same then as it is now. since they have began to gel theyve had 9 straight games with 30+ assists and are first in the league in assists.

not only will the warriors win the title, durant will be finals MVP

Yeah, the opening game of the season really means not a goddamn thing. If my memory serves me correctly, the "Heatles" lost their opening game to the Celtics in 2010, and everybody screamed the season was a bust. That team actually started far LESS impressively than the Dubs, yet they still made the finals.

Kawhi Leonard was completely underwhelming in last year's playoffs and probably will drop off in this year's playoffs as well.

And the Clippers are a team of fuckin chokers. They're ALWAYS good in the reg season. When the pressure is on in the post-season, Chris Fail, Fake Griffin, and their band of merry chokers will never get it done.

Forget LeBron's '10-'11 Heat team, MJ's first title team in '90-'91 had them starting out 0-3

who gives a fuck? cleveland got blown out in a few games in the NBA finals and they still managed to win the title. let alone some meaningless game at the start of the season when the losing team has 6 or 7 new players
